Went into this with quite a bit of trepidation from the trailers. Seemed like it was going to be more of a brother yuckfest. There were some light moments in the sequel but satisfied with the overall serious tone. Thought the Harbor Neuroscience School scenes were all great. Enjoyed the original more but 2 works for what it is.

minor quibble but the closing song sucks compared to Sean Lowe's "To Leave Something Behind"

minor quibble 2 - Is he becoming a one trick pony? As much as I love Jon Bernthal movies and roles, kind of getting tired of him - the Pedro Pascal Syndrome.

Watched it last night. Enjoyed it as well. Was not nearly as good as the OG. Agree on the bar fight. Cat scene at the end was hilarious. Pretty sure the whole point to the movie is to introduce the character Anaïs and possibly Alberto as well. Wish they had not revealed what Justine actually looked like. Prefer the mystery to her character.

It was ok. Not as good as the first one IMO. I thought the emotional growth that Affleck's character went through was played up a bit much and also the comedy from Bernthal's character was played too much for laughs, but ok. I also wished they didn't recast the character of Justine and had the actress from the last film(from the Americans) return for the role. The first film remains superior in tone and action for my taste..

He’s getting annoying by overacting.

She was definitely revealed in the first one, but played by a different actress.

Do not remember her being shown as an adult. Only briefly as a child. Pretty sure if she was shown it was only briefly at the end.

But was the voice for Justine in the second one. The actress who played Justine in the second one is actually autistic, so I guess that's why they did that.

I think this is the only shot of her.

Thanks. Yeah, I liked that she was kept mysterious in the first movie. She has a prominent on-screen role here and (to me) it takes away from her character.

Ben Affleck's autism acting in this movie was so weird and different compared to the first one. I didn't like this movie nearly as much as the first.

I liked it. Not gonna overanalyze and make comparisons to the first movie. Enjoyed the autistic hackers involvement. That was a definite "Oh shite they're gonna get caught". Didn't feel like a 2 hour movie at all.

I didn’t end up hating it like I thought I would, but it definitely had a different feeling than the first one.
