SyFy mini-series: Neverland

Anybody watch this last night? Its a two part miniseries (each part 2 hours) about the origins of Neverland and how Peter Pan and Cpt. Hook became to be enemies. I'm usually pretty skeptical of any series on SyFy, but this was has been really well done. Really good cinematography and the story has been great so far. Part two is tonight at 8:00 Ct I believe.
Worth checking out of you like the Peter Pan story.

Yea, part two we are going to see Hook snap and become full on Cpt. Hook.
Usually the CG in all the syfy stuff is really just awful, but for the most part, this has looked great.

The end of part one surprised me. Anna Friel plays the role of the villain very well.

The story is really interesting. The idea that this one orb is responsible for bringing all the people to Neverland is cool. I guess we will see Peter fly tonight too

Yea, I'm interested to see what they do to get him to fly. Obviously Tinker Bell is going to do something, whatever it is, its going to have to keep him from dying too. I doubt just sprinkling some pixie dust will do it.

agreed. I guess it wasn't enough for them to be the size of a parking deck. LEGS EVERYWHERE!
This storyline has really intrigued me though. If a real channel every got a hold of it, I think he could make a really kick arse series. HBO could probably make a great show out of it.

A real channel? SyFy is the same channel that gave us the remake of Battlestar Galactica - arguably the greatest sci-fi show of all-time.

I realzie, but their series suck. For the most part they are cheaply done cause they don't have much of a budget.

its not a syfy original. it was a bbc movie that syfy picked up. hence real actors and good story.
