I think Rhys Ifans is one bad arse Hook. I really like his portrayal thus far. Especially just now when he got pissed off at Peter.

It's been badass so far. Depending on how it ends Neverland may be better than Tin Man, which I love and own on DVD

I think there is a rule in hollywood that you cannot have a peter pan film without casting bob hoskins as Smee

That was an absolutely fantastic end. They have to make that into a series. They have set it up perfectly and it would be amazing.

The only problem with making Peter Pan a multiple season show is....well...how do you explain the kids growing up when they arent supposed to be growing up in neverland?

Yeah, I could definitely see the miniseries being a test run for a series. As pretty as it was, I don't think it cost that much to make.

I would like to see the Lost Boys adventures and Peter's gradual metamorphosis into the Pan!

I agree with you. It doesn't have to be a long series. But if they film pretty straight. They could probably get in 3 seasons are so. That would probably be enough, and won't be too noticeable of age change.

I hate the need to explain everything. Why can't we just say -- it's magic? But the series stopped down three or four times to patiently explain to the viewers the science of Neverland. That's when I got up and made a sandwich.

I liked everything to do with Captain Hook though. Rhys Ifans is a good actor and he made a convincing slow turn to evil, as he becomes more and more obsessed with pixie dust.

And a show like this lives and dies by its child actors - and they were all quite good. Even the Lost Boys, who managed to be more than background, especially Curly.

Thought it was a decent, but I probably wouldn't watch a series.
