Devens was the best player. But, him putting fake idols in play after whining about the fake advantage he got was kind of a dick move.

The dick move by Devens was even worse when you recall that he made a speech at an earlier tribal about someone trying to embarrass him in front of his kids and family by having him play a fake idol at tribal.

There were too many idols in play, but they did make it an entertaining season. It would have been interesting to see more of the EOE daily life. Maybe have them compete for food and see if it would have still been such a soul-healing experience for all of them.

Not looking forward to a season of hearing Boston Rob and Sandra brag about how great they think they are

that's the only reason i pointed it out. I have no problem with the fake idol thing. But, if you're going to cry about it and turn around and do the same thing to someone who wasn't even involved well...

I am hoping them being on season 39 means they won’t be on Season 40 which is rumored to be All Winners

I've heard another round of Fans vs. Favorites is coming soon, wonder if all the Favorites are past winners? Or both are coming up maybe.

Fairplay doing that was the best move of all time.

That would be a cool twist. If they do All Winners I hope it’s ones we haven’t seen in a long time. Hatch, Brian, Chris from Vanuatu, Todd, Kim. I always wanted to see a tribe of winners vs a tribe of best/most popular players who never won

One Question about the final. How and why did Ric and Chris get the broken idol back? Seemed like that tilted the playing field.

Chris got the broken idol for winning the EOE challenge and decided to give Devens the other half.

That said, of the the final 3, Gavin should have won. He made it through the season without a single vote against him.

I didn't realize Gavin didn't have one vote cast against dude could have had the third ever perfect game if he would have won.

If he had won unanimously. Who was the second?

I think he would have beaten Julie and Victoria solidly if not unanimously.

I think he would have beaten Chris if Chris didn't go head to head against Devens in the fire building challenge.

30 second assessment:

Loved the season. Hated everything about the finale including the final 3 and the winner. Lauren is absolute fire. Hopefully they never do extinction again.

Can't stand Sandra, might not be able to watch next season.

I disagree with a few of you here on not receiving a vote is a good thing. That tells me that nobody ever thought you were a threat.

Yeah. There's a reason Chris and Devens targeted Vic over Gavin at final 5.

Sad news. Forgive me if someone else posted this earlier.

WWE star Ashley Massaro, who won the league’s “Raw Diva Search” TV show in 2005 and later appeared on “Survivor: China,” died Thursday in Suffolk County, New York. She was 39 and the cause of death has not been determined, although police have said it appears not to be criminally related.
