Be careful searching anybody’s name. There’s a final four/winner spoiler out there from the same person who posted the entire s42 boot order (correctly).
I did unfortunately see who wins f4 fire but I clicked off before going any further down once I realized what it was. So I don’t know all of the final 3 or the winner.

Should Frannie have dropped her ball after she gained immunity? That would have guaranteed both she and Matt, who was on the other team, would be safe. I guess she was caught up in the moment, didn’t think it through before the challenge started, or was just really hungry for the reward.
I thought it was strange that Carolyn is so invested in keeping Yam Yam around even though he got a lot of votes last episode and seems to be damaged goods.

Yes, she put her biggest ally at risk for no reason other than the reward. She was already immune.
I don't know why Heidi wasted her advantage though. She should have forced Brandon to vote for Lauren, then Matt and Yam Yam could have caught on and then Lauren would have been forced to use her extra vote to force a tie.
If Brandon still has to vote for Lauren in a tie, then she's gone if Yam Yam and Matt stick together.

That said, Frannie is in a better spot in the game without Matt around. It definitely takes a target off of her because no one will feel the need to break up the pair.

I agree. That advantage was wasted in my opinion. It was hard to not like Matt, dude was always happy.

Didn't even force Lauren to use her extra vote.
Maybe Heidi was trying to get in good with Lauren/Brandon/Jamie?

She knows Brandon and Danny barely acknowledge her existence. The rest of them seem to not listen or care about her either. Yam Yam is the only one who she can really talk with.

Carson seems to be close to Carolyn as well.

It wasn’t even just wasted, she hurt herself with it imo.
She went against the majority that voted Matt out, showing she isn’t in line with them, and also ruined any relationship she had with Yam yam and Carolyn.
I guess Matt’s GF will appreciate that, but she now seems on the outs too so that’s tying yourself to a sinking ship imo.
Seems to me the best move would have been to just take Brandon’s vote and vote against Lauren, and just say you didn’t really want her out but wanted to force Lauren to use her advantage to flush the extra vote to cancel out the vote against her.
Even Lauren’s allies secretly wouldn’t have been too upset by that because they were all nervous about her having that power.

Glad to learn Matt and Frannie have been dating since filming stopped. They are cute nerds together.

100% should have had Brandon or Jamie vote for Lauren.

They were on different tribes before and didn't do any of the journeys together, but they did both vote for Josh the week before. I didn't see them as allies as much as just on the right side of the vote.

You're in the wrong thread, but you're not wrong.

Excellent blindside. Perfectly played. Thought sure yam yam was gonna frick it up.

Yeah I was sure that Yam Yam was going to frick it up, but the odd part is the blindside group had 6 people and Brandon's group had 4. Why not just put 6 votes on Brandon and save the idol?

i think it went the other way.
When Jeff reads the results, six votes come back with Frannie’s name on them. After those are voided, the remaining four votes expel Brandon from the game.

Correct, but two of the votes for Frannie were Carson and Yam Yam, who both knew ahead of time that Danny was planning on using his idol.
Now, it's not bad strategy on their part, because now an idol is gone and in theory Lauren, Jamie, and Kane still think they are allies, but it doesn't make much sense from the side of Danny, Frannie, and Heidi. If the purple/green 6 wanted to push back on the yellow 4, they didn't need to use the idol.
