Surprised to see this thread buried with no update. I missed the first 20 minutes. Lauren and Patrick can't stand one another, but Simone (who was bad in challenge) gets the axe.

Last nights show was very meh.... Not much going on. And if I had a clue to an idol, no way in hell I would ever share it. Or let anyone have any idea I had one.
I am surprised that so many on the show make that mistake year after year. Just find it, hide the hell out of it and forget about it till you need it.

I haven't really found a player that I really like, yet.
First 2 episodes have both been kind of meh. I'm sure it'll pick up though.

I'm baffled too at all the idiots that tell someone else they have an idol right off the bat. It doesn't make anyone trust you. It only puts a target on your back.

Problem was, the clue was out for anyone to find, and the dude that found it first was too dumb to figure it out on his own. I'd like to think that if he realized the clue was pointing out the well then he would have found the idol by himself and told no one. Instead, like a total moron, he thought it indicated a raft... a movable object... what a moron.
Simone getting the vote was no shocker, but that ginger is REALLY annoying. Could be as much the editing as him actually being annoying, but either way I doubt he sticks around much longer.

Yeah, that's why voting out Simone wasn't shocking. They need the ginger for a few more weeks at least to avoid having their tribe decimated.

I've never seen it work out for people who let a different/ annoying personality cloud their judgement. And if they are successful in getting the other out they always get over confident going into the next tribal.
Also it never works out for a tribe when they start singling out "threats" within their own tribe before a merger...

Lauren seems the only one annoyed with Patrick. I think the edit played that up and he was never really in danger.
