I wouldn’t really take that to heart. There are a few lines about rock bands and the soundtrack had a little bit but he isn’t a “punk rock” Superman

Superman flips what "punk rock" means in the movie.

Angry Joe, who is a Superman fanatic, gave it a 6/10. Basically described it as a mess. Too many characters, which is something a lot of us feared. Weak Lex. But said it’s OK. Go out grab a beer grab some popcorn and have some fun. He did also say they did some major major canon changes, which is very interesting. I wonder what I’m gonna be walking into.

Yeah it’s the ones referencing Lex specifically. I think he was awesome and that’s the same I’ve seen from all the others
Maybe they’re a little in too deep with lore and had some idea of what they wanted and are disappointed with it? I’m not sure.
When I think of Lex, it’s this guy. Ultraman was awesome too though

I agree with all this. I also dont like the canon change. think Reeve's Batman.
Lex just HATES Superman just to hate him. there wasnt enough room in the movie to actually give him depth and true motivation. The movie couldve been better by removing a lot of the side elements that are just "there."
but it's a fun, true comic book movie.

This sounds like it’s gonna be another polarizing one.
I’ll probably like it. I won’t like it as much as Man of Steel because I already know the action isn’t as good. Superman action is the most important thing to me. But that’s just me personally.

as with most thing Gunn does, the kooky animal character steals the show. Krypto is arguable the best thing in the movie

I don’t know. I didn’t go into his spoiler segment. He just said there was a major major canon change. That’s all I know. After I see it, I’ll go watch it.
