Infinity war is so good. The best one easily. End game has some issues. I’m watching it right now. It’s a bit convenient. But the setup is almost always better than the payoff.
I agree with you. Endgame's issue is that it overuses time travel. But honestly, the way it's set up at least makes sense, and there is a damn infinity stone that literally controls time anyway, so it's really not that farfetched.
But Infinity War is the #1 greatest comic movie of all time IMO. It's that good. And with so much riding on it (15-ish years of buildup), it not only delivered, but exceeded expectations IMO. And the way it ended was just a punch in the gut, which makes it stand out. Resolving IW was gonna be a tough job, but I think they did it admirably.

I watched the Tobey Maguire Spiderman 2 recently and I thought it was one of the better comic book movies made.

I agree with Infinity War. I can see the argument for Endgame, but no way on the 1st Avengers. Not all time at least. It's mid tier for Endgame and before MCU. I've always viewed it as the worst Avengers movie and one of the most overrated in the entire MCU.
Really? I absolutely loved the first Avengers movie, and that was also with me disliking 80% of the MCU movies up to that point (only one I really liked was Iron Man, and parts of Captain America). But I thought the first Avengers was really, really great.
Matter of fact, looking at the complete list of MCU movies, I can honestly say I either didn't care for (or didn't see because I didn't care about it) about half of the movies.

SM2 is definitely one of the best ones. At one point it was my #1 comic book movies. It's great.

May explain why I enjoyed it over the other versions - it was edgy and wasn't Superman. I never liked superman as a character. He was a lame boy scout. Man of Steel fixed that. Those who hated Man of Steel are totally justified.
It’s pretty much the same thing they did with The Last Jedi. You don’t like that version of Superman, then you simply don’t like Superman.

Man of Steel was good
It turns Superman into a murderous psychopath. Yes, this has been done before, but it was done intentionally and was shown to be bad and evil of him.
Snyder was completely oblivious in doing this. Thousands of people died during Zod and Superman’s fight, and just him being forced to addressing it in the sequel doesn’t make up for it in Man of Steel. It’s too bad Age of Ultron overreacted to this since ultra-violence is Ultron’s bread and butter.

Snyder’s Watchmen was almost frame-by-frame the comic book, yet he somehow still managed to miss the mark.
This is true. Visually he got everything right - the movie looks like the graphic novel projected onto the screen - but in the changes he made to the story he got everything wrong. He copped out and went for an "Ozymandias was a villain all along" ending, I guess because maybe he didn't think audiences would be smart enough to get the graphic novel's more nuanced take. In doing so he more or less eliminated the entire point of the story.

Agreed. I'll take this version of Superman -
Over this gay shite -
Snyder superman for the win -

Imagine being such a loser that shazam is your profile picture? Wow, that could never be me. But for people like you, you're used to consuming garbage. So, it doesn't surprise me.

The first Avengers is quite boring after a second viewing. It’s moved way down the list
I’d move Batman Begins up. It’s a lil slow but a lot of depth and character.

Like hell they are. People are obsessed with this retarded idea that Superman never killed anyone. And would never.
In Superman:Exile (an older comic storyline from the 80s i believe) he kills Zod and his pals incl. Faora. Straight up kills them. He leaves Earth because hes consumed with guilt. Eventually he meets Mongul (the recurring supervillains first comic appearance) and comes back while admitting his imperfection.
But the reasons for killing zod and co were the same. Zod said he'd come back no matter what Superman did and kill everyone. Superman wasnt convinced he could beat them again. They went to an alternate dimension and went full OMNI MAN there just to show they could do it. He considered alternatives but ultimately went judge jury and executioner on their asses.
That shite was not only in character but had precedence in the books.
People are just fricking whiny little bitches.

It’s the most dominant genre in the history of movies. Maybe pop culture. It’s always going to be talked about it.

They have a loooooong way to go before they can equal the dominance Westerns had in American film.

Possibly. The comic book/superhero movie stretches as far back as the 40s.
Then there are movies like Cowboy & Aliens-a western comic book movie. The Lone Ranger is a essentially superhero character…but there’s what…200+?
A lot of movies dip into the genre, just like westerns. What is TMNT? Power Rangers? That Josh Trank movie?
Plus with streaming services…movies or TV shows? Netflix has a ton of action movies with
stars. Some of them have limited big screen release.
But we are in 20+ years of superheroes being the dominant genre. It’s all that’s left in theaters.

That's flat out not true. They tend to make the most money out of what's released but there aren't so many that it's all you can see in theaters.
