Succession first season was incredible

The acting in this show is just amazing. The guy that plays Kendall just nails it. He is so believable as the tormented son. All of the other characters are perfect in my opinion. For those of you who have watched, is the second season as good as the first? Thx

I just finished episode 5. I agree that the acting is incredible, but I've been a bit bored with the past few episodes. The pilot was awesome but the episodes since then have not been as good, IMO.

The funniest part is for how great the actors are at playing their characters, Greg is just playing himself. Every interview or appearance I’ve seen with him he’s just the aloof “I’m just surprised I’m here” guy

Yup, those two are comedy gold when together. The scene where cousin Greg is blackmailing Tom and Tom's genuine proud reaction that he is getting blackmailed, made me laugh so god damn hard.

It’s so weird how nobody watched this show while it was on during the first season. The season long thread I remember not being populated hardly at all.

And they do a really good job of somewhat rehabilitating him from then on out.
They are all scumbags. They all suck.
Roman is funny and shows some signs of humanity. Actual compassion leaking through in the lunch reveal scene on the boat in the finale gave a glimpse into that. But baseball scene was definitely his lowest moment.

I wonder if being on right after GOT hurt ratings initially. I’d assume the opposite on the surface, but the two are so different and a lot of people don’t have the time to watch multiple shows Sunday night. Plus most people I think tend to watch based on recommendations
