Oh well, a disappointing end to an above average show. Lots of potential, especially with a lot of the fan theories that just didn't come to fruition.
so because fans were wrong on your predictions means isn't wasn't good enough. The overall consensus was that they landed the ending. The finale was great especially the epilogue. This was a top 10 show of all time when all said and done. You only get shows like this once every decade.

There's a Stranger Things broadway play that's actually canon
The fact that so much necessary backstory was given in a limited run play is fricking bullshite.

so much necessary backstory

Next thing you people will want to know the backstory to Suzie and how she ended up at that camp to meet Dustin or Dr Breener life story since he was a kid or Dr Brenner dad life story. What about the backstory to the therapist in season 4 with all her students dying from vecna. We need a whole spinoff on her.

Another issue I had with this season - kind of ruined the mystique and danger of the Upside Down. People were literally just driving in and out of it and setting up shop like it was no big deal.
I’m starting to think it’s because most of you are just on your phones and scrolling thru tik tok while you’re watching television these days.
All the demo dogs and demogorgons and bats attached to the mind flayer like in season 3 with all these hosts to form a monster. Otherwise it would have just been smoke.

Not according to the showrunners.

Or just say we ran out of money. Or there was no way they could have reached the Mind Flayer so we left them out.

you have become so entitled that because you didn't like something you now use it as a soundboard for lazy writing. You have overinflated your intelligence and importance.
According to your precious IMDB, the finale is rated the
39th out of 42 episodes for the season so clearly many others have issues with it. All in all the season was a dud.

They are just messing with you nerds at this point. Yall have become exhausting. Yall don’t listen to them when they talk about other storylines so why should yall care what they say now

After being in Pecan Island at the camp for New Years and the weekend away from social media and cell phone service I’m convinced after reading these threads that majority of you guys would complain about the Goonies, ET, Stand by me if these movies would have come out today because they have too many plot holes or no one died. Yall would sit back and pick apart every ounce of these shows until yall would convince yourselves that you could write it better because some Reddit fan theory said so. You nerds just watch too much tv and need to go outside more. There was much complaining even in the season 4 thread when I went back to rewatch season 4.
The series finale landed perfectly that it landed in my top 10 of all time tv shows (#7). Gonna watch it again tomorrow night to see if it lived up to the movie theatre showing Wednesday night. As time goes on it might even move to number 6 all time for me.

Is that what some of you guys did all week. Create multiple IMDb names to vote every episode a 1 this season?
Episode 7 and 8 season 5 have 120k more votes than episodes on season 1 from 2016 hahah
Season 1- 9.9
Season 4 -9.8
Season 2 -9.5
Season 5-9.3
Season 3-9.2
Overall a 9.6
with the finale landing perfectly. Episode 7 Season 5 was the 2nd to worst episode with lost sister being the worst.

So basically we should never take your opinion for anything? Got it!

Your opinion was never relevant. My top 10 shows are better than yours. Everyone I’ve spoken to in real life face to face said the same thing. They landed the ending and it was fantastic. Internet bums are the only ones talking about plot holes and shite that no one noticed or cared about.
There is a reason why you sat at home on New Year’s Eve and watched this finale.

What did you do to finally get banned?
Finished it last night
1>4>3>2>5
Good show overall and a decent finale
Probably in my top 50ish TV shows

Can’t argue with that outside of season 2 which I thought had so many classic episodes and really kept the masterpiece that was season 1 going.

You actually downvoted the showrunners contradicting you. That is just precious. Be honest for just a second here. Why are you simping so hard for this? You’re being paid, right?

And of course the paid journalists who have asked the questions to the showrunners. How many Ls can you take on this?
