I've enjoyed all the seasons; sometimes you just go with and enjoy the ride. However, I feel like they should be able to wrap this up in season 4 especially now that the kids are so old.

Heh - hadn't occurred to me before but Eleven is basically River from Firefly. I don't really mind that, Firefly never got a chance to develop her character.

Saw the trailer as soon as they released and was blown away... I don't see how they tie the entire story together, felt stretched bringing the russians in with the upside down...its all over the place, but IDGAF.

I’ll need to do a rewatch before the season, but it’s been established the Mind Flayer is THE big bad in the Upside Down right? If so, seems like this would just be a real world and humanized manifestation of that entity. I suppose it could use a real human avatar though
