Agreed but it also feels lik they’re hanging “not the American” for people to have hope for Hopper before it’s revealed it’s not him and that he survived a different way

Extremely underwhelming. Typical SJW dialogue and characters.
The cast never feel truly threatened, it always feels like a matter of time before the "good guys" figure it out and escape.
Extra downgrade due to not getting the milf atleast topless at the pool.

It’s really not. You’re just too fricking sensitive

Best season of the series.

I hate how everything has to be seen through a political lens these days.
You don’t always have to choose a side.

Harbour is playing a character named Alexei Shostakov in Black Widow.

Hopper lived. The number has a voicemail that talks about him, & if you use the number as coordinates it brings you to the location in Russia at the end of the season.

can you explain that further?

Google it. There’s a video out there of some dude running the phone number as actual coordinates, & it brings you to the city in Russia that the season ends at.

Someone decided to call Murray’s number as it didn’t begin with the 555 hollywood area code and its a real number with a message from Murray. Bunch of videos on YouTube.

I knew they wouldn’t kill him off!

Was the Mind Flayer both Billy and the Meat Monster or just Billy?

Just finished. Haven't read a page of this thread bc it's probably a shitshow knowing the MTV board. I liked the season. Much better than season 2. Not quite as good as season 1.
Max is a super annoying teenage girl but also a great character. Props to the actress for pulling it off. Her slow acceptance of what happened to Billy was done really well.
Mike was fine.
Eleven was fine.
Dustin, Steve, Robin and Erica had the best storyline. I loved basically all of their scenes and Steve is easily the most well written character in the show.
Will was useless. Lucas was there.
Nancy and Jonathan had some good moments, but there wasn't a ton of character development after what the first couple episodes teased.
Joyce and Hopper were pretty great.
Looking forward to season 5 and I hope it involves the Chernobyl disaster

How about the entire mayor-Hopper scene?
Pic of Ronald Reagan on the wall before he goes into the office.
Just a coincidence the mayor has the same color and hairstyle as Trump, right?
And hes portrayed as an a-hole? NOT A COINCIDENCE.
And he has shady ties to Russia?
Mayor Kline's sign just happens to look a lot like Trump's sign?
it has to be awful living this way

I bet Hopper will lose a lot of weight for next season since he will essentionally be a POW.

He didn't even get paid apparently.
Netflix and the Duffer's rode him out and his own expert turned on him.

This pretty much describes Twitter. No matter the topic, it’s always just people picking sides and fighting.
Really enjoyed this season. Much better than 2, not quite as good as 1.
Smirnoff and Bald Eagle were great. Hopper and Joyce constant bickering was annoying.
Thought the argument between Jonathan and Nancy was very interesting. Both made good points, but it felt like Jonathan was more sympathetic there. Nancy came off as a spoiled rich girl who wasn’t getting what she wanted.
I hated Erica, but the characters she was paired with were still my favorite part of the season.
I didn’t like the Robin being gay reveal. In the scene where Erica says she spots the Comms room, there is a look Robin gives Steve when they hide. It was very much the kind of thing that is showing she is attracted to him.
It also fit the story they were telling of this budding romance that neither would have pursued outside of teaming up for this mission. If they are gonna throw a curveball like that, I would prefer some hints that the story could head this way. It was played for shock instead.
Basically I don’t like how that story was told. The fact that she is gay is not itself the problem for me.
It did seem like they were hinting Will might be gay. There was some stuff early on with Joyce and Will at the table that kind of started me thinking they could be headed that way.
It’s hard to tell what they are going for with that. Could be hinting he is gay, could just be he hasn’t reached the point of wanting to date girls yet.
