funny that its getting such rave reviews considering this one looked like it had the least potential out of them all

Superbad was almost a 90. Be wise how you choose your numbers

This was one of the worst comedies I've seen in a while. I typically like Will Ferrell's "dumb" humor, like Anchorman, but this movie was just pathetic. Awful plot, awful cast, awful attempts at humor. I typically don't like to judge other's opinions on movies either, but if you REALLY REALLY found this movie funny, then your sense of humor is poor.

Just so I have something to compare to, what movies do you typically think are always funny anytime you see them? I'm not trying to start shite just trying to see your taste in movies.

better than superbad
FAIL

I somehow got suckered into seeing this movie by a) having nothing else to do tonight and b) listening to you fools on here.

It's like I have fricking Alzheimer's and always think, "Oh, Will Ferrell, this might be funny..."

I had a feeling this was going to be Talladega Nights Part Deux and I was basically right.

It was TURRABLE!!!

Individual random funny moments, sure I guess.

But individual random funny moments do not a good movie make.

I would like to give someone my address and money to buy a gun in exchange for your cell phone number.

That way, the next time I consider watching a Will Ferrell comedy, I'll give you a call first so you can come and kill me.

As far as better than Superbad. I thought Anchorman was better than Superbad. Anchorman is one of my fav comedies. I'm going see it tonight.

I was laughing the whole time. If you don't like Will Ferrell then I don't know why you would be going to this movie in the first place. He and John played very well off one another.

Exactly, I don't know why either.

I liked Anchorman though.

Why is Superbad the measuring stick for all comedies now?

Ithought it was okay, but definitely not upper echelon in the comedy department.

just got out and i thought it was funnier than superbad. i haven't laughed that hard in a good while. John C Riley stole the movie. He was the shite. Not above Anchorman but it's damn close.
