They’re 2.8 billion short of breaking even at present. You have the business intelligence of an infant so you don’t know any better.
this post has to be saved for all eternity

Nice self own and btw Disney+ has lost nearly 12b since launching so where is the SW IP making all this money dipshit? Disney as a corp isn’t SW yet you continue to conflate the 2 and you still have no concept of gross/net, you think they’re the same lmao

merchandise, content sales, licensing, live events to name a few
EA paid them a billion dollars straight up
In 2023, The Walt Disney Company's global retail sales of licensed consumer products and experiences reached an estimated 62 billion U.S. dollars, making it the leading brand licensing company worldwide.

So their one billion a year on toys, apparently made for free, is making up for and turning a huge profit over their hundreds of millions in quarterly losses every year? Lmfao I wouldn’t let you run a lemonade stand

Do you realize your favorite show had to purge all its merchandise? It didn’t even get sent down to discount dollar stores, they just pulled the stuff. Obi-wan and other merch was pulled early as well and sent to the bargain bend but since in your mind everything is free they didn’t take any losses there either. You’re so stupid lmao

Acolyte, the show you constantly lie about,

that's not even my favorite star wars show.
Andor is, followed closely by The Mandalorian

If it's such a groundbreaking concept and deserving to be fleshed out, then why not make it its own story? Don't tie it to Star Wars. If it's strong enough and there's a market for it, then roll the dice Alphabet People.
You and I both know that nobody wants to see that shite as its own IP, much less shoehorned into Star Wars so they can check intersectional boxes.

Yet you don’t bend over backwards and make things up to call those shows great…. Just to avoid future confusion, I know what you are and what you’re doing so do is both a favor and skip the act.

you don't know anything. you don't even think Disney makes profit on $60 billion in merch sales.
you have about the same grasp on reality as your alias

$60 billion companywide, $5 billion on Elsa & Lego Star Wars consumer products 2017-2022, $1 billion on star wars last year
The margins on Elsa & Lego star wars merch are probably very close to the margin on the rest of their merch, so a billion in sales is probably an easy $400million plus profit per year.

So that’s a loss for SW. They’ve been losing more than that every quarter.

I mean they probably would've just blasted "her".

It’s a valid question.
It's not a valid question because you're not asking it in good faith. You know exactly what he means, because you've been involved in countless threads where this exact topic is brought up and answered over and over. And if someone answers it again in this thread, you'll just continue asking open ended questions ad nauseum. If you don't agree that Disney is deliberately subverting and destroying a cultural icon, fine. But to act like this is the first time you've heard this argument presented and to act shocked that no one is taking your question seriously is disingenuous bordering on just straight dishonesty.
