I don't think about this character at all, and she is pretty far from the worst Star Wars character.

That scene should have never happened. Now Star Wars as a whole doesn't make any sense. I can't think of anything in the prequels that damaged the OT to the same degree.

Holdo wasn't bad. Rose is the one whose existence was pointless. Add to the fact that Rose stopped Finn from sacrificing himself, and it's a recipe for disaster, IMO. Finn was the worst part of TLJ.

There are so many bad things about tlj that it’s difficult to pick one. So many bad characters that were bad from the beginning (Rose, purple hair), good characters that they ruined or just abandoned (Luke, Kylo, snoke, Finn), and good characters that they just never developed (Rey, Poe, Finn).
Tlj is a total, systemic failure.

She's not worse than Jar Jar. However, Rose is definitely the worst.

The filmmakers thought it was a home run:
Translation: The story didn’t make sense or have the effect we wanted when we boarded it. But we stuck with our idea anyway and when we added a bunch of cgi and special effects it looked really cool visually. So we said frick the story this looks awesome.
