Is 2 hours and 30 minutes, making it the longest Star Wars to date.

More hyped.
It makes me think they needed it to fully flesh out every little bit instead of cutting corners for the sake of attention spans.
IMO, if you're watching Star Wars, you're pretty much fully invested.

Same here, if that's even possible with how excited I was for that.
Rian Johnson is probably the biggest SW fan out there, so if he expands the franchise and makes it like the extended universe and the games, he'll go down as the best thing to happen to SW.

Bold prediction here, but with Disney really wanting Rian Johnson to direct episode 9 and him declining but then getting the new trilogy to write, I think they believe they have a great movie on their hands and I think this will have the highest rotten tomatoes score of any star wars film.

Would rather have 2 1/2 hours of good than 90 minutes of crap.
Example: Spectre would have been MUCH better if they had stuck to original script and made it a longer movie but no, they had to start chopping and it sucked.
