According to Star Wars podcaster named Corey Van Dyke, a "reliable source" has "confirmed" that a new Rebels spinoff show will focus on Ahsoka and will shockingly be released this year in November 2020, presumably after or concurrent with Mandalorian Season 2, which is scheduled to debut in October.

Star Wars animation has been rock solid. There probably is a solid niche audience for an Ahsoka series. I'd go for it. If only to keep Filoni's hand in Star Wars so to speak.

If Filoni is producing it, then I am on board. I have complete trust in him.

Too bad Kathleen Kennedy is too much of virtue signaling SJW idiot to make Dave Filoni the Kevin Feige for Star Wars and give him the keys to the whole thing.

Going off the quality of the rebels and later clone wars seasons, the sequel trilogy would've been absolutely amazing if Filoni was at the helm. What could've been.....

This is the path of madness Sentrius. You know this. Once you think what could have been had someone competent handled the sequels forever will it dominate your destiny.

George said he would come back with complete control and have Filoni as his right hand man. Honestly at this point this is the best chance we have. Lucas, Filoni, and Favreau

I’m ready too. I haven’t heard, but honestly hope it’s weekly like The Mandalorian. That way we can interact between eps.

When you write the score for the scenes is it after the scene is filmed or do you create it during a reading? How does that work?

Usually we have a locked cut to write to (this means the animation is fully rendered and there will be no more edits to the picture).

Sometimes we will get a rough cut but it is usually still 95% or more done. They may still need to fully render a few scenes or they may still make a few minor edits. Often, even the rough cuts don't change.

This is a bit of a luxury. A lot of TV and film has to be scored while major editing is still happening. There has been a a trend with some to "pre-score". They will write a lot of the music before the film is shot. Gustavo Santaolalla often works this way. I hear Trent Reznor does this. IIRC, Hildur Guðnadóttir wrote a lot of The Joker score before getting picture.

Good deal thanks for the insight. My grandfather was a big band leader and wrote music until he died in his 90’s last year.

Season 5: The Search for Ezra Bridger?

Are they going to have Rosario Dawson voice Ahsoka to ensure continuity between it and The Mandalorian?

That would be an ultimate "frick you" to Ashley Eckstein and I doubt Filoni would do that.
