But they did and it’s been well documented. JJ had a rough outline of the trilogy that the Star Wars people all had blessed. He met with Johnson and tailored a few scenes to make sure they fit in the story the way he wanted to tell it. Then Johnson shite all over that in favor of being “edgy” and changed the direction. And he somehow got Kennedy on board with the changes, I’m assuming because Hollywood was so wrapped up in SJWing at the time. After they finished shitting on the fans and the dust settled, Hamill and Ridley have both said Rian changed the direction significantly. Hamill clearly was not happy with what they did to Luke, and he’s since been very vocal about it.
I’m going to be cautiously optimistic.

Fallen Order looks interesting. Going to be weird seeing Jerome as a hero though. Not excited about loot boxes for different force powers and light saber colors though.
