think Luke's death was symbolic. Good-bye white guy...you have no place in our Universe except for being the villian on the Dark Side.
Unless that little boy with the broom at the end is transgendered, I'd say you're wrong here...but don't let that stop your sweet little melt.

I'm terrified about Thanos.
They did not allow one single element of danger or one single possibile consequence or harm to befall any "good" character in this movie.
Why should we expect any different with Infinity Wars?
Thanos is going to get the Ultron treatment. It's going to be horrendous.

I just realized all the allies in the outer rim left Leia hanging - no one gave a crap about them even though we had two speeches indicating how they had supporters everyone.
But WAIT...we see a kid who can force pull a broomstick feeding a camelhorse does so all is saved.

Pretty sure it’s common knowledge many of the Avengers are dying in this movie - they are redirecting the MCU after this.
So yeah Thanos is killin’ some fools.

He did look like he had a touch of the gay - but go on pretending Disney didn’t have an agenda even though persons associated with this movie have explicitly stated so.

You’re right, for those five seconds he was alive after letting us know he connected Ren and Rey, we saw he was super force sensitive.
He could force choke and throw from across the ship, command extremely powerful force lightening with the flick of a single finger, force pull a saber from Rey and throw it at her, invade Rey and Kylo's minds and link them from across the galaxy, turn Kylo from right under Luke's nose, etc...
He's probably the most force aware and most powerful being they've shown in the Star Wars universe and they decided to just quickly kill him pathetically and counter-intuitively with no backstory and no explanation.

If you had told me a month ago I'd enjoy Justice League more than The Last Jedi, I'd have force choked you.

I wouldn't count on it.

He might kill a bunch of random cannon fodder no one cares about but I seriously doubt he kills more than 1 at most. And it'll probably be Stark. And he probably won't really die.

Loki is honestly one of my favorite characters that Disney has created.

I think a lot of people are missing the shift in the Star Wars story. It is no longer about the Skywalkers, they will all be dead in the next movie. It will now be the story of the Force, both the light and dark. The Force will never die between movies or play hardball when contracts expire.

Angry Joe, who is a massive Star Wars fan hated it.
He's also a massive DC fan. He hated this more than he hated BvS. And he was PISSED after BvS.
He talks about it HERE (Spoilers).
He complains about how much this movie fricked up. Bad. Like, irreversible damage to the storyline of the franchise. I'm in complete shock about the reaction to this movie. Why/how did Disney let this happen?
Yeah, I may Joe disagree sometimes, but the guy is honest. Chris Stuckmann said he hated the B-Plot here as well. Jeremy Jahns said that plot is so bad that he told people to leave during their scenes to take a piss.

Luke was NOT Luke Skywalker in this movie. He was Luke CryGawker.
That’s why Mark Hammill hated the direction of the movie.

Palpatine converted Anakin while under the nose of the entire Jedi council. Hell, he hid himself from the entire Jedi council.
We only really get a few minutes of Snoke showing his power. I think your just making assumptions of his power because of one entire scene. And that’s my problem. We only truly get one scene of him showing his power. I don’t really see how you can say he is more force aware than Palpatine from what we have actually seen on screen.

I saw it in Dallas in a sold out Dolby theater at Northpark.
The theater broke out into applause like 10 times, I'm not kidding.
I wanted to shoot myself every single time.
Well that's what you get for watching it at Northpark. Worst fricking theater ever. Cinemark was better and the audience I was with realized it sucked.

Nope. People are SEEING the shift and it is freaking retarded. These characters are literally 40 years old and iconic.
If you want to shift it better be done DAMN well and with a DAMN good reason. And that obviously didn’t happen.
THAT is precisely the issue.

I'm not making any assumptions. It's what they literally showed on screen. He was more powerful than Vader or Palpatine.
He flicked force lightening with one finger. He force choked and threw from across the ship. You saw how powerful Rey was. He threw her around like a rag doll.
He mind melded Rey and Ren from across the galaxy.

This might of been the first Star Wars where I didn’t feel nothing after watching it.
I think that’s worse than anger.
Agreed. Attack of the Clones brings rage in me. This movie on the other hand killed my soul.

Seriously, the end of Snoke was fricking horrendous. Who possibly thought that was a good idea?
I mean, killing him could have worked if say he had 30 minutes of screen time with Kylo Ren, but Johnson said "frick that, let's get back to saying how Monaco is the worst place ever".

I think the DAMN good reason is the 2 billion dollar investment in the franchise and being able to maximise profit for this huge investment.
They don't care about the .1% of potential global customers that are diehard Star Wars fans.
Also remember that it not just about the Movies. There is a lot money that will be made from merchandising and the theme park/hotel.

All the real early attempt at spoilers pointed to the Avatar the Last Airbender type of storyline with that. Some with saying Luke was going to tell Rey that she was his father and explain the whole rebirth of the chosen one storyline.
I hated that whole idea. Glad that isn't what they went with and I hope it doesn't happen in 9. Actually I don't care what happens in 9 anymore thanks to 8.
They've clearly taken some inspiration with that franchise, and now I wish they went full speed ahead with it. I don't want Rey to be Anakin's reincarnation, but taking some plot points and tone from that, yeah go for it. I was expecting the movie to basically be Season 2 of that series. Instead we got shite.
