Star Wars - Things that don’t make sense

I was watching a bit of Return of the Jedi on TBS right now and a couple scenes reminded me of how many things in SW series don’t make a lick of sense.
Like when Han, Chewie, Luke & Leia are using the stolen Imperial ship to pass through the new Death Star’s shield to get down to Endor....
Why didn’t they just enter Endor’s atmosphere literally anywhere else and fly treetop level over to the shield generator? The shield was not planet wide, such an unnecessary risk.
Another one is that Imperial blockades always consists of only 2-3 Star Destroyers, yet our heroes always feel the need to have to fly straight through them. Why do they never exit on the backside of the planet from the blockade ships? Or, why not jump to light speed immediately just to a different location then continue on to final destination?
This one extends to the tv series as well, but why are Jedi shite at shooting blasters? You’d think if they have the ability to block incoming blasters, they could also use that ability to never miss when shooting a blaster. Luke, and specifically Kanaan from Rebels, are as accurate as storm troopers with a blaster. They freaking suck, they should be head-shotting people better than Mando.
These are just a couple of examples that came to my mind, but I’m always reminded of others when I watch the movies.
What are some other things constantly done that don’t make any sense once you take a moment to think about it?

You don’t think they can detect ships leaving a planet from space? Also what is the back side of a round object that’s rotating ?

The entire Galaxy somehow forgets about the Jedi and the force every 30 years. Things that happened within people's own lifetime.

How about that pretty much every alien species speaks and understands English?

Light Sabers.

I bet there are things most Chinese folks know but most Americans have never heard of.
Same thing applies with the Old Republic.

Another one I thought about recently is how humans speak English to a droid or alien, the droid or alien responds in their language, and the human understands. I was "having a conversation" with my 1.5 year old the other day and thought about this. She understands me for the most part, and I understand her to an extent, but a stranger would have a damn difficult time understanding her version of words. Yet, we were able to converse what was needed to be said.

Why didn’t Obi-wan recognize R2
How did Obi-wan not know about Leia’s relation to Luke
Why did Obi-wan age 40 years in 18
What the hell is up with Obi-wan

He did. He was hiding it to try to hide Leia from Vader

1. How do you know this?
2. That's a pretty fatal design flaw if true and defeats the purpose of a shield generator for Endor.

Maybe watch Rogue One and you'll see a shield around an entire planet. Why are we to assume there it wasn't here? Or maybe there isnt' one, but the planet is heavily guarded from space and you're not getting into it without clearance first or they are going to blow you out of the sky.

I think about this in every sci-fi/space faring movies/TV. It's a 3D space out there, there's no reason that I can think of that some ships can't simply fly under or over blockades or anything similar.
Best to just not think about it.

Light Sabers
Blasters. They shoot a laser beam, which is light, and it some how goes slower than light. So slow, it can be easily deflected by a laser sword.
An actual bullet shooting gun would be more effective.
