"Stan And Ollie" what's your take on this movie?

I've seen it once and caught bits of it at other times and find it a pretty entertaining movie that deals with the comedy duos life as their careers are coming to a close.
I grew up watching their movies that played on TV just about every weekend when I was a kid and thought they were pretty funny. Of course their humor is pretty dated now, but in the 50's and 60's, it was still a good watch.
John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan really capture the essence of the title characters and give a pretty believable performance from my perspective. The mannerisms, delivery of dialogue and the portrayal of their comedy bits were pretty spot on in my opinion.
Well worth a watch.

I saw it on an Airplane. Probably wouldn't have watched it otherwise, but I enjoyed it.

Didn't see it but Reilly had to play Ollie?

Historians say that it plays fast and loose with the facts, but it's very entertaining.

Yep, and they had to add the fat suit to make him as big as Oliver Hardy was.
Steve Coogan did a great job playing Stan Laurel. He had the look, voice and mannerisms down pat.

Well acted. I remember seeing their movies on TV when I was a kid. They were old fashioned by then, but we had only three channels so ... Found the movie to be decently entertaining, but a young person who never saw them may not care so much.

What I liked about them and really all other comedy teams back then was they never resorted to vulgarity or fart jokes to make people laugh like you see in most comedies today.
Just about every comedy team back then resorted to slapstick for laughs. The Three Stooges, The Bowery Boys, Marx Brothers, Ritz Brothers, Martin and Lewis, Abbott and Costello, and of course Laurel and Hardy.
