*SPOILERS* Revisiting The Mandalorian Season 2 Final Episode

So I rewatched the final episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, and then decided to follow up some react videos and other tidbits on YouTube.
A few things stand out when watching the react videos:
1. Luke's fans aren't just white dudes. You had men and women, and the videos included a large number of African-American fans and some Asian fans as well.
2. Luke's popularity comes from both a testament of how good the character is and how universally beloved Mark Hamill is. He's just a likeable person.
3. Some additions to the scene are absolutely amazing. Here's my favorite, where the Luke reveal has new music with the Force theme:
Perfection
Also, Gina is perfect for this role. No need to Waifu with her - I can easily believe seeing her beat the shite out of dudes.

Any word on 3 release timeframe
I wonder how they will proceed with season 3
Will we get more Grogu?

The guy won the casting lottery and could've been a dick but he was always realistic about his performance and his luck.
The guy became an iconic voice-over actor based solely on his incredible talent and could've been a dick but he was always giving credit to the creators and writers and other actors.
You can't help but like the guy.

Early 2022 is as narrow a time frame as I've seen.
Don't know about Grogu, but I've seen some articles that believe Wookies will be added. Perhaps one to the main cast, I'm unsure.

We also get The Book of Boba Fett in December.

I have watched a few of the reaction videos for the finale and what struck me is how many people, from a wide variety of backgrounds and ethnic groups... hell from a wide variety of countries... broke into tears over Luke showing up to put his thang down.
This is why you do not reinvent the wheel folks. People were desperate to see a heroic Luke and the Sequels gave us hobo Luke. Complete with the dreaded Mark Hamill thousand yard stare while doing publicity.

I think it comes from the idea that Luke's character wasn't treated with the respect it deserved and that it was done purposely.

They wanted girl power not Luke power, and the sequels sucked accordingly.

It's probably my favorite episode of television ever.

What's truly sad is that they could easily have had both. There was no need to tear down Luke to elevate Rey; in fact, give her development while making Luke akin to Obi-Wan and I think people could easily have loved her.

Also this (and if someone can meme this, please do...)
You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never get in a hallway with a Skywalker!" Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha... *thud*

Not that I really give a shite, but I suppose the opportunity is there for them to explain who or what Snoke is in The Mandalorian.
Maybe by actually giving some backstory to that character, Favreau can redeem another element of Disney’s horrible decision making.
I’d also be fine with them not doing it, just saying.

They should of had Grogu telepathically take the knob from Din Djarin while he was leaving with Luke.

Grogu will show back up as a badass who saves the Mandalorian.

That scene is orgasmic with the force theme.
A threesome with Ming Na and Gina would be incredible

The finale was epic and tugged at the emotions. That was Star Wars in all it's glory

They've set that up perfectly. Time jump in future seasons, Din is getting his arse handed to him in some big battle. Right at the moment it looks like he's going to bite it, the ball goes flying out of his pocket, into Grogu's hand, who has a lightsaber in the other. Grogu wrecks shop.
