Jupiter’s cock! The gods have seen fit to remove cock from fricking arse and give us a new season. Not sure where this fits in the timeline since Ashur got we he deserved in season 2.

A Spartacus rewatch thread is desperately needed before this is released in the Fall.

I read where it's based on an alternate timeline where he doesn't die.

That is certainly a choice

The creator specified they will not be toning down the nudity and violence, so I’ll give them a lot of leeway on bringing him back.

"The 10-episode spinoff, titled Spartacus: House of Ashur, widens the scope of the Spartacus world and follows Ashur (Nick Tarabay) in an alternate universe where he didn't die on Mount Vesuvius and, instead, went on to be gifted a gladiator school, also known as a ludus."

What happens in the alternate timeline?

Ashur survives the events of the original series and inherits Batiatus' gladiator school

The Roman elites reward Ashur for stopping the slave uprising

The alternate timeline shows how one change in the timeline can rewrite history

Whenever I see this actor in another show I always say, “fricking Ashur”.

No shite.

I hope this isn't a money grab.

Btw, Ashur was awesome in The Expanse. I saw him and wanted to hate him immediately. He redeemed himself.
