I agree with you. I've defended South Park throughout its existence against those who claimed it was just fart and poop jokes. But that's exactly what it's turned in to. Now instead of an original plot, they just blast some current events jokes in your face. It's becoming like the show that they made a glorious 2 parter blasting to pieces.

The only people who I know enjoy South Park more now or anywhere close to older episodes are those that A)Just started watching the show B)They like how South Park "makes fun of current events" C)They are finally clever enough to understand the subtleties of South Park because there aren't any now.

I love them letting SJW's have it with both barrels, but I admit, the loss of creative subtlety is alarming.

Breesus, the show has been on for fricking 20 years. If you are hoping for character development at this point, then just stop watching. Holy hell!

That episode went so far over some of yalls heads. It wasn't about any person who criticises anything.

Over our heads?

The entire episode was focused on how everyone thinks "their" opinion is the most important in the world and everyone should listen to them. Inflated egos and not listening to reason at all because they are too busy spouting off their bullshite opinions to listen to anyone else. You don't remember the army of people (including cartman) that were all talking over each other thinking THEY were at the center? That anyone really gave a frick what they were saying at all? Yet they kept talking, on and on, even though no one was listening or gave two shits about what they were droning on and on about. It's like they were just filling up space with useless dribble disguised as opinions. Sound familiar?

Did the ending where they gave every douchebag a fake medal so they would feel important and think they were they only one with the medal in the town, only to have it mark them to get boogers and cum fly completely over your head?

And trust me, I truly believe if you were in the position to blackmail trey parker you would. That is about the only thing you don't relate to what this episode represented and that's only because you aren't in a position to do so.

That's the worst episode of South Park I've ever seen.

I know your sctick is to be the notorious douchebag South Park critic and constantly group all episodes of a season together and compare to earlier seasons, but I agree with you here.

The first couple of episodes this season were phenomenal.. but it has been pretty average since then, and last night was dog shite.

Damn, I must have either been drunk, exhausted, or both last night. It seems like I'm the only one that actually enjoyed that episode. And no, I don't love every single episode.

I'm watching it at lunch today. Seems like most people thought it was terrible and too weird.

This episode was just plain awful. It has joined the ranks of 1000 Little Fibers, cripple camp, and the hockey episode.

This, except I kinda liked Cripple Camp, it was a send off to old Hanna Barbera cartoons and I like the Timmy character.

I laughed twice in this new episode, I don't think they are all hits, but I watch every week and don't feel this need to bash the show and flip out when they have a bad episode. I mean I'm middle aged now, grey hairs and balding, and this show was on TV when I was in High School.
I give it credit.

That's not how I feel at all. I haven't told anyone in a South Park threads to kill themselves or quit watching you quit posting it anything like that.

Plenty of people have said that to me. Because they feel their opinions are more important. I don't think mine is important at all.

On the contrary, I present an opposing view point to this being the best season ever and everyone says I should go away. Much like Cartman who needs someone to filter all the comments for him.

If I was in a position to blackmail Parker the only thing I would do is ask to meet him. He's my second favorite comedy writer of all time and I've watched everything he's ever done.

That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is the show used to be centered around characters playing off each other and using the developed characters and world they created to put episodes with plot lines and jokes based in and on that world.

That format has been replaced with a lazy uncreative format for the last 2 seasons. And while there have been one or two ok episodes and some laughs here or there the show isn't having just a slight dip in quality. It's on a crash course with dog shite.

I know this will go in one ear and out the other, but FFS, people aren't mean to you because you haven't liked some of the episodes this season. It's been said countless times why people are annoyed.

And you DID in fact say you are pissed because they don't focus on character development. Go back and read your post again. If you didn't mean that, then don't say it.

I enjoyed the episode. Not their best work but I found it funny. There is no way this is close to being the worst episode.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here but it's not your opinion that gets people annoyed with you. It's the constant non-stop repetitive nature in every thread of how "southpark sucks now because of..." You had 40 posts in one episode thread this season saying variations of the same thing. If you would just critique the episode good OR bad, and leave it at that people wouldn't mind.

But you cant help yourself. You have to constantly give your OPINION on how bad southpark is as a whole now and list the various reasons why. Over and over. In that respect you are just like the yelpers in that episode who keep saying the same thing over and over and don't stop, even when people are telling them to or trying to have reasonable discussions with them.

OK we get it. We got it the last 267 posts where you said this exact thing.

Do you have to come in every southpark thread now and give this opinion over and over? Don't you think we know by now? The formula has changed. We know. You think it's uncreative, we know. It's "on a crash course with dogshit" we know that's how you feel.

Why do you feel the need to inject this into literally every episode thread? (even ones you said yourself that you liked) Do you think it's adding depth to our discussion or something?

I actually laughed a good bit last night, but the ending weirded me out. The more I think about it, though, it makes sense. Cartman is a textbook narcissist and he can only jack it to a mental image of himself.
