Lol no! This was a good episode but it doesn't touch the greatness of Pinkeye from season 1

No offense, but I find solace in you thinking that. You're a very nice guy and I like you, but I pretty much differ completely from you in terms of taste.

I already know you and I share completely different opinions as far as South Park goes. I think a lot of the first season was gold. When I was trying to come up with my top 20 in my short lived SP WADS I had at least 6 or 7 from the first season that I was sad to cut. I think most of the classic epsiodes are from the first 6 seasons.

as well as people acting like Stan on face time was actually a real person.

This was the most poignant part of the whole show and drove home the point they were trying to make. Face-to-face interaction is going bye-bye. Reality exists on a digital plane now.

ETA: This is why South Park is so damn genius. They are able to make serious points while making it funny.

I'm more a mid-South Park guy. Seasons 5 and 6 are without question the 2 best seasons they ever did, but 7-11 were pretty damn good as well.

Was thinking the same thing, however I'm tempted to try Gangnamstein.

They're just trying not to upset the lead cop, whose proven to be a complete moron.

Agree that this was the 2nd best this season behind Insecurity.

The first time he said it was after the one guy said. The party can only happen on halloween night, or something like that.

Basically agreeing with the head cop, so that can't be it.

But that's why he kept saying it to the other cop. It was like a "Shhhh...just let him be.." kinda thing, because the head detective is such an idiot.

I love that dude. He's one of my favorite characters. He was outstanding in Butters's Bottom Bitch and the Mr. Jefferson episodes.

Why did Isaac Hayes have to go and join that cult?

I thought it was because the chief said it was that certain party's biggest night of the year, implying that the cops used this as an excuse to bail on work other days.

But the chief being an idiot works too.

I loved this episode along with insecurity (the best one in a few years) 2/3 have been great. I miss the Christmas episodes though.
