This is what makes the show funny. It's so much better now than it was when they just did random shite in the late 90's early 2000's

This is why SP seems to have 2 distinct groups of fans. They will never have an episode that caters to both groups.

To me it does

I can definitley appreciate the later seasons as being "smarter". But I just want to laugh. I don't always want to see Matt and Trey's take on current issues. Having said that, sometimes they do both, like the Iraq War one, that is my favorite episode ever.

Cent Ipad was pretty funny though.

I really am curious when they started doing their "6 days" thing.

I would like to see more evidence that they do this for every episode. The documentary was at a time when they had another big event planned, and they were forced to do the episode in 6 days. I don't know that, that is the main operating mode (it might be, I just don't know). But it has certainly become "fact" that every episode is produced in 6 days.

You can see the amount of stress they are under in the documentary trying to make the episode in 6 days; so, under normal conditions, why would they subject themselves to such strenuous time constraints? I just don't see the benfit of it. Sure, they could make an episode in 6 days to take on a current event, but that doesn't mean that they do every episode that way.

Am I the only one who noticed that the player they specifically had chugging the most "goo" was Tom Brady?

I KNOW that was deliberate.

Well, he is like the most recognizable NFL player right now.

Brady grimaced. Armstrong was the one splashing it in his face.

FWIW, I actually laughed more at this episode than I have at any in while. The standard complaints about every single new episode are hilarious.

I dk why this episode just didn't do it for me. I think it's because I thought they would have done some other stuff to make fun of the NFL, some flag for excessive hugging the QB or something. And I thought for sure Goodell was going to be portrayed as the Emperor from Star Wars; or at the very least they'd make fun of him personally more. The cum thing just wasn't that funny to me. I got the point they're trying to make with it, Armstrong splashing it on his face was funny, and Randy saying "this is cum" was awesome. But besides that it was pretty dumb. I honestly think the best South Park episodes are the ones that aren't exactly centered on current events, but they throw in subtle jabs at stuff that make it hilarious.

The best part of South Park is the South Park thread. During the show everyone posting loves it and wants to put it in the top 10 or top 5. Some go as for to say it is a best episode ever. Then shortly after it ends another group start posting about how it is not funny or how they only laughed twice. After that the two side argue for a few hours.

Pretty much nailed every one of these threads
