Ok, I will agree that if a child is sexually abused it is more likely to be by a family memeber/family friend than by being abducted into a child sex slave operation.

I believe it's more likely that family members pushed/forced a child into trafficking (sex or otherwise) than a stranger as well.

quote:

Either way it is sickening. And even if familiar abuse happens more than child sex slavery, why does that mean they shouldn’t still bring awareness to the issue.

Which variable do you think the general public is focusing on right now?

That same rabid reaction is also proclaiming anyone who doesn't accept that narrative is a pedo who supports sex trafficking.

The movie itself takes no political side. Politics really aren’t mentioned at all. Nor does the movie delve into any Q’anon stuff. I think the activities the movie is bringing to light most everyone already knows exists. The movie is just trying to emphasize how it is a larger isssue than many understand it to be and that it is growing.

There are 2 separate discussions going on. One about the movie itself (and it seems like a decent effort from what I've read) and a discussion about the reaction to the film. Anytime someone gets backed into a corner about this second conversation, they immediately retreat to the first conversation (about the movie itself).

If you took the time to watch the interview with caveziel, and your only deduction is that I'm the one that can't think intelligently, than you are just as looney as him.

It's truly amazing they can't grasp this even though it's been explicitly stated multiple times by different posters.

The movie is excellent and a must see for any American

The lead actor is a nut job in real life but shouldn’t have any impact on reviews or what you take from the movie.

Both statements can be true

So you are making the assumption that both issues can’t be discussed. That if we want to bring focus to sex abuse by family members then no one anywhere else can ever try to bring light to any other type sex abuse issues. That is stupid. Both can be and should be discussed in the public forum.

He’s a nutjob but he’s also pretty cool. He did a football movie here and at the wrap party, which was at the director’s house(rental?), he showed up, asked a lot of questions about the grill they were cooking food on, then left. It was pretty funny but on brand for him.

yep. we simply answered the question as to why the movie is being ignored by liberals, and have stated that their criticisms of caveziel are valid.

nowhere in this thread has myself, SFP or anyone else criticized the movie, said that we don't want to see it, justified any boycotts, endorsed pedophilia, etc.

do I think it's right that the movie is being totally ignored and dismissed by the left and their media allies? No.

that said, Caveziel only has himself to blame for discussing politics, andrenochroming and a global cabal when promoting a movie that doesn't reference any of that stuff. it's distracting.

But it’s not though. Its being insanely criticized by liberals and they’ve even gone the extra mile by basically saying that child sex trafficking is a non issue although “us crazy qanaon right wingers” think it’s an “epidemic”. Their words not mine. No one gives a frick if they go see it or want to support it. Please ignore it liberals.

I somehow doubt that, but you immediately bringing up stolen election bullshite as soon as someone answered your question is fascinating.
