Very disappointed in last nights episode. There was no reason to write Opie off this soon unless he wanted off of the show.
There was no reason why Jax shouldn't have offered up Tig. Tig knew it should be him with his most recent frickup that set all this into play. Jax knew their was no way out of the situation. The obvious and most likely scenario was for Tig to go down like a man.
Sutter and the writers wanted a "gotcha" moment and it was bullshite.
Btw, I'm beginning to like Pope
i agree with all of this. Opie has 2 young kids he just made into orphans. I know he was depressed but he was a tough son of a bitch. I see him taking a pinch and some arse whippings for Jax and samcro, but suicide? I don't know.
Sutter did that for shock value and to create a defining moment for Jax. Hopefully it pays off.

The scenario is much worse....but tonight's scene was better executed imo. It felt more real.....Tig didn't pull off the burn scene as well.
Tig's scene was hard to watch b/c of a parent watching their daughter be murdered. However, you are correct that the tig didn't pull off the acting. In fact it was so bad that I was more focused on the fact that the acting was terrible than was was actually going on.
Opie's scene was much 'better'.

I can't tell if Jax understands what Pope is doing because of his daughter, or is planning to go after Pope.
Both can be true. The obvious play is for Jax to bide his time and go after Pope, but these guys do have a way of rationalizing things, and we've already seen the delayed revenge thing with the FBI agent. Maybe this season is just about Jax turning into Clay; it's sure off to a depressing-enough start.

Jax needed something or someone to push him closer to becoming like clay. Opies death has now done to jax what nothing else could. Turned him into clay and released the beast from season 1.

Who else would rat him out?
Pope?

Clay pays the place a visit, and next thing you know they get raided?
Too obvious.

Clay wouldn't tip off the police about the place because it would be breaking their cardinal rule: Never rat.

I'm telling you, it was the blonde chick getting revenge for getting her arse kicked. Women are bitches like that

tig's scene was nothing. opie's scene was much worse. who cares about tig.

That last split second when you see his eyes widen and you know he and Jax made eye contact and the pipe comes in. Ridiculous. I was like

lol you think he gives a shite about that at this point?
Anyhow, Opie got what he want. He was just tired of being miserable. "This life ain't worth it anymore, chasing money we don't need and spending dimes just to survive..."

I check in on this show every once in a while. I know Piney got killed and last seasons ending was lame? Why did they back to jail? And the SAMCRO guys just said "fine one of us has to die?"
Posted on 9/26/12 at 10:19 am to RonBurgundy
There were witnesses tag said they saw them run over popes daughter

I think it's the blonde chick too. I'm getting really f-cking tired of gemma and tara, so it's good they'll have some new piece of arse rolling around with the MC to really stir sh-t up.

no i think it was a highway shooting that witnesses saw. only tig ran over popes daughter so all 4 of them wouldnt have gone to jail for that.

Didn't smits aid in Jax's protection in jail? I think Pope brought on the raid.
Posted on 9/26/12 at 10:22 am to bbap
Something like that. Either way they in jail
