You may be right but it might be an assumption also. Not all boats used for snuggling are designed to be fast. Some are selected because they are innocuous. I live on the gulf coast of Mississippi and if I wanted to smuggle something onto one of our docks, I'd be more likely to chose an old shrimp boat rather than something Crockett and Tubbs used to tool around in.
You might be right but I don't think the type of smuggling Cameron was doing required he outrun anyone but rather that he look as normal as possible.

But he did actually get into a fast boat, and not a trawler. Probably another couple posers with Crockett and Tubbs' boats in that harbor they could steal.
Now they are gonna have to haul their bikes all the way to Ireland to kill that bastard and gel Abel back. But maybe they can swing by Budapest on the way home and whack Zobelle, too.

What if the opening scene next season is on the boat.... He is driving the boat and Stahl comes up from the cabin and shoots him

Worst character ever.
But as if she would have shot the Irishman in that situation.
As if Gemma would have trailed Zobelle's daughter into an unknown house, shot her, and then sat on the couch.
There were a lot of "as if" moments in that episode. Not a great night for SoA if you ask me.

Stahl would probably make him give her head and throw Abel overboard. One of the writers must have an ex-girlfriend named Stahl because she's the fricking devil. And probably one of the ugliest hot chicks on TV.

This was an insane move to write into the script. I've never been in that situation but I doubt if I take a breather with two dead bodies in a house. Especially when she had no idea whose home she was in.

Clay not taking 10 seconds to smoke Zobelle or his waiting on the side of the road for Jack while his grandson is abducted stand out as well.
But the biggest is Jack and his troops hugging and crying while his kid is still 50 yards away.

I agree that there were a lot of moments were the plot was really thin. Stahl's cover-up, the tattoo parlor, Clay walking away from Zobelle and then waiting for Jax at the wharf.
The whole idea of the Irishman actually taking Abel is pretty outlandish, too. I thought Tara would have fought harder to stop him, anyway.
Zobelle's whole character is pretty far-fetched. An FBI informant with tons on info on dirty judges and senators who is using AB muscle to set up a major heroin operation by supporting a mexican biker gang's gun-smuggling operation.

The Irishman/Abel scene was terrible. As soon as he picked up the knife, my wife walked out and never came back in the room.
Why the hell wasn't the door locked? Why did they go to Jax's house instead of to the shop where they all were supposed to be for safety?

Why did they only have the prospect guarding the Old Ladies of the #1 and #2 guys in the club when everyone else was sequestered in the clubhouse? I can see them going for groceries... but for her own house and not for the 20 some-odd people cramped together in the clubhouse?
