I thought 3 was way better than 2.

vahalla rising pretty good? Keep meaning to watch it.

It had great visuals. I'm not a big Refn guy. I dug Mikkelsen as the main guy, and thought that line was funny when I heard it. It's kind of like Apocalypse Now meets Pathfinder. If you're into visuals, minimalist story telling, and out of period music you'll dig it.

How no one making the film removed that scene with him strutting down the street is amazing.

The Village began to break my young, naive heart.

Spiderman 3 ripped my heart out and shite all over it.

2002 - Reign of Fire (The directors should have talked to the makers of DragonSlayer from 20 years earlier. This could have been one of the greatest dark fantasies of all time...ended up being very decent dragon movie with poor acting)

Dang I wish I could find my thread w/ my review of this and it being the greatest dragon action movie of all time.

Spiderman 3 completely blindsided me. Never expected that. Especially with the trailers and all. It just sucked.

I grew up reading comic books and loving superheroes. So, needless to say, I have been let down by a slew of superhero movies.

Spider-Man 2&3
X-Men 3
Wolverine
Batman & Robin
Hulk
Fantastic Four 1&2
Superman Returns
Daredevil

I think you get the idea. I was most disappointed by the Spider-Man and X-Men movies. Those were my favorites growing up. I really don't like any of the Spidey movies, but I will let the first one slide since it's ok. Kirsten Dunst is not Mary Jane.

I'm not saying it was good. IMO it was better than 2. The Doc Oc character gives me douche chills. Really the whole series was a giant letdown.
