And if that is Jax's personal tool chest, it is unlikely that anyone will touch them. I think it is. Did you also notice the couple of ounces of ganj and the pistol?
yeah, i figured that was his own personal tools. If you know any mechanics or pretend mechanics, you know they basically have universal tools and their own set. So if this is his own, it would make sense that no one else would touch them

I felt that it was a decent episode. Thought it set up next season very well. Liked the very end when Tara embraced being the new top bitch

A terrible season finale. Someone tweeted (either Alan Sepinwall or Daniel Fienberg) that it was too much like a "a wizard did it" ending. I had come to the conclusion a few episodes ago that some suspension of disbelief would have to take place to enjoy this show, that it was occuring in an alternative reality in which land mines, RPGs and the like could be used without drawing any notice, but this episode really went beyond that.
From a realistic standpoint, you have to accept the fact that the CIA allows a terrorist group (the cartel) operate inside the United States, killing American citizens and foreign nationals, dealing drugs, funding the IRA - a enemy of one of our closest allies, all the while trusting an outlaw motorcycle group to not only play a key roll but also maintain secrecy.
Also, are we to expect Opie to sit around the table with a man who killed both his wife and his father? And for Jax to do the same thing with the guy that killed his father and tried to kill his wife?
At some point in time, Jax is going to have to have some blowback on the fact that he told Tig that it was black guys that shot Clay. This led to Tig overreacting and bringing down a huge war with the Niners on the club.

A note on the suspension of disbelief: Even though these guys are bikers, they do have family members. This season, Miles, Lem from the Shield and Piney were all killed. SOMEONE is going to miss these guys and call the police. It is going to come out that they were members of the club. You can't just keep dropping interconnected people left and right without some ramifications.

Also, were Romeo and his #2 in the CIA...OR were they in the cartel working with the CIA?
Same question I have. At first I thought they were just informants, but informants don't carry shields

I asked if he was a Fed last week and was sloughed off.

Not that it wasn't already unrealistic, but them being Feds is just fricking ridiculous

Eh...that was bound to end disappointing, how else do you write them out of the cluster they were in, and still keep the show going?

No way in hell Opie bailed. His wife and Dad have been killed by Clay. If anything, his absence could've meant he knew Clay would be alone and was killing him. still no way he bailed on the club.
Agreed - he knew everyone would be at the meeting.

yeah i agree but it wont be opie that kills clay
it will be Jax no doubt about that
it will be Jax no doubt about that

I somewhat agree with this. I just found it extremely frustrating that they built up this Rico investigation all season and then within the first 2 minutes of the show they just sort of wave a magic wand and it all goes away. It made me ask the question of why did I watch this show and get invested in the story line this season if it can all be wished away with some insanely unbelievable plot line.

Also that two of the higher up are deputized federal agents

I think Opie got jacked by the Niners.
Maybe this came out a long time ago, but it came to me out of the blue while I was watching the finale that SAMCRO means:
Sons of
Anarchy
Motorcycle
Club
Redwood
Original
I am easily amused so I enjoyed the Finale.

Not at all, just tired of punks hiding behind keyboards.

Which is worse, me making fun of someone pointing out something that has been pointed out several times in four seasons of the show, or you calling me an a-hole and a punk?
Which one is an RA-able offense? (Don't worry, I'm not going to RA you for it, although I don't appeciate it.)
I'll put it to the board. Who on here among regular SOA watchers didn't know what SAMCRO stands for?
Let's see if I'm the only "a-hole" who "knows everything."
