This, I for one like the characters and the season finales always worry me b/c I feel like everyone is vulnerable to some random killing. People don't have to get killed to have a memorable finale and sometimes it’s a cop out. This finale was true to the show's foundation, 'John The Revaltor' is now the President, slow to delivery but the last 12 minutes was good. I feel like this season got away from the core of the show, but regained it in the end...the intricacies and drama within SAMCRO is more important than RICO, the Cartel, IRA, etc. Next season’s goal should be to try not to cloud the conflicts with so many outside factors. The results on how they got away from the RICO operation were lame. Other than I look forward to where it goes from here

I completely agree with the last part of what you said. I mean they get so much shite going and it's like they get ahead of their selves with how to wrap it all up so they create outrageous plot twists like the CIA getting involved.

I especially hate how they build up the RICO operation all season long and then they close it out in about 30 seconds and you are like O.K.? Is that it? Really?

Next season I hope they focus on what the ascension of a new President does to the politics of club. Looks they have some good story lines with Tig getting demoted and Clay still around and Opie bailing.

This and I'm ready to see what does down with the Samcro and the big Oakland gangster whose daughter Tig took out and 9ers.. plenty of conflict for a new president and his cabinet to deal with... Who gets the nod at VP since Ope bailed?

I'm gonna go ahead and say that in a crazy plot twist, Jax puts Clay there in order to keep a better eye on him or some shite.

Exactly how clay step down??? Is it just assumed that jax can say he told me he was stepping down?

Jax will give the letters to the club to show what a POS Clay really is. The club would likely turn on him, so it's no use for Clay to fight Jax for the chair. Clay isn't going anywhere though. He might not be president, but he'll be on the show.

Kinda seems like they all knew something was up, especially when Tig left out of the hospital room and told Jax he'd let the guys know about church, like Jax had told him he was going to talk to Clay about stepping down or something like that... but who the hell knows

She burned the ones that had the information on the part she played in John Teller's death, she made sure to seperate them from the stack she gave Jax... the letters about Clay are in the bottom drawer of that toolbox in the garage

Ill be in the minority and say I liked it. I don't need and all out physical war, but I dug it for ending the way it did

I didn't love it, but I liked it. I don't think it lived up to the rest of the season...my expectations were probably too high due to last season's ending. Last season's finale was so satisfying. This one seemed kind of quick how fast they took all the tension away from the RICO bust, just to spend the rest of the episode shifting to the "family" hierarchy and power shift. This one still has a lot storylines in the air, not nearly as cooly tied up as last season. I did dig the scene of Tara knocking Gemma from her spot.

Overall...really enjoyed the season.

Didn't Jax tell him to be at church at 8:00 before Tig said anything?

:notsureifserious:

And yeah, Gemma only burned the letters that implicated her.

Didn't love it, didn't hate it. All season it felt like the show was building up for something to happen at the end of the season. However the finale feels more like a setup for next season.

After a season of wild and unrealistic action every episode. To end a season like this is a let down. Yes next season can be great. Gemma knows where the letters are, clay is alive and Jax has to save the club again like season 3. Tara still has something in her bag of tricks. Opie will be back but with an urge to even the score with clay. Tig now has more reason to come back to clay. Look for another season of a MC divided. But farke we have to wait for that. I say too Damn long.

He very well could have told him something about it,there was an awful lot of chat chitting going on around me while I was trying to watch tonight so it's very likely I didn't hear the whole conversation
