So who are you going dressed as/what costume you got for The Dark Knight Rises?

Ive never dressed up for any movie, for obvious reasons. Also, im not just a die hard superhero movie fan, though I do love this series. But the hype for this movie is unreal and my buddy said he'd pay me $20 if I did dress up. So it's kind of catching on with a few of my friends and I figure it would be pretty hilarious if a few of us did it. At least would make for a good story.

So I'm thinking of one of these two:

Poison Ivey
Thor

I think both could be pretty hilarious. Poison Ivey because it's a chick person and from the crappiest movie ever and Thor because it's not a Batman character. Hopefully going this Friday so this is going to be rushed. I don't know which will be harder to get my hands on or make so I'm undecided. I thought maybe Mr. Freeze but that costume would be nearly impossible.

I'm going as Maggie Gyllenhaal, assuming my afternoon jowl-stretching appointment isn't cancelled.

Did they recover all the body parts? That's impressive.

I bought a kids muscle shirt, child sizes 4-6, and cut off the muscle part and glued it to a long sleeve black t-shirt. It came with a cape and a mask that actually fits as well.

Also, I plan on wearing this costume to the next Madea movie as well. Just because.

My buddy told me Morgan Freeman so I'm also considering Shawshank Redemption prison Morgan Freeman.

I thought Thor was pretty good, but Shawshank Freeman is better.

You're black right? Otherwise it won't work. Get some black play dough and roll it up in little balls and glue on your face for his moles.

I'm sorry but I have never understood why grown adults dress up for midnight shows. I went to see Episode III at midnight back in 2005 and it was amazing how many idiots embarrassed themselves with their lame costumes. I can understand kids and preteens dressing up, but grown adults? Come on man!

I've never dressed up before. And if I do this it's not because I'm being serious and think I look cool. In fact, I will most definitely look like a tool; which is kind of the point. There aren't many things on the planet I won't do if I'm dared and offered over $10.
