She created another reality with her and Vision. Looks like they go through the decades of typical sitcom families.

In the comics, after the death/erasure of her children, Wanda went insane and created a completely fabricated reality.
Wolverine is the first two realize something is off because of all the tinkering around people have done to his head over the course of decades. He then frees some X-Men and Avengers, who initially think Magneto did it (this is the House of X storyline, and essentially has Magneto's family as royalty and mutants rule America).
Hawkeye, one of the freed Avengers (brought back to life in her alternate reality), confronts Wanda and forces her to realize her manipulated reality isn't real. She goes even deeper into insanity, and after dealing with her father utters the words, "No More Mutants." She basically erases the X-Gene from 98% of all mutants. Several well known mutants, including Magneto and Jubilee, are among those that lose their powers. It was a really big event.
So, without the Mutant portion, this series could be showing how Wanda is going insane and recreating varies realities from her subconscious so that she can have a life with Vision.
quote:
Wanda hears the Wasp mock her ambitions for motherhood, only to find herself missing her memories of ever having had children.[78][79] Scarlet Witch then seeks out help from Doctor Doom to see if he can restore her children to life. To do so, they summon a mysterious cosmic entity which merges with her.[80] Wanda, under the influence of the entity, launches a campaign of terror against the Avengers, blaming them for the death of her children. The Vision is destroyed, Hawkeye is killed, and Scott Lang is apparently killed (it was later revealed that he was actually saved by Wanda's future self, who teleported him to the future in a manner that made it appear he'd been killed). Doctor Strange defeats Wanda, and Magneto leaves with her.[79]
Realizing that the Avengers and the X-Men are seriously contemplating killing his sister due to her unstable powers, Quicksilver convinces Scarlet Witch to use her powers to create a world where everyone has their heart's desire fulfilled.[81][82] Although the reality warp succeeds, several heroes (Hawkeye, Wolverine, and Layla Miller) regain their memories and gather Earth's heroes to stop the "House of M".[83] When Magneto discovers what Quicksilver did, he murders him. Wanda resurrects him and, enraged with her father, depowers 90% of the mutant population,[84] including Magneto and Quicksilver. She is later shown in Wundagore, living a secluded normal life.[85] Both Beast and a resurrected Hawkeye met her during this time, but depart after confirming that she has no true memory of her past.[86][87]

Wanda has a few breakdowns/possessions in the comics.
So this will probably be a play on those.
Since being introduced she's lost most the people she knows.
There's only really Sam left as Clint retired then went Ronin after Civil War and Infinity War and Scott was MIA completely after the brief team up.
So possibilities here now between this and Multiverse of Madness we'll have Fantastic Four pulled out of the Negative Zone and "No, more mutants" will make it out from the joke panel.

You're never going to convince me that she's not the reason Heath Ledger is dead.

Wrong Olsen. Try Mary Kate for $200

I'm nowhere near knowledgeable enough to speculate, but all of that seems like a good playground to get mutants into the MCU.

That is a compelling argument.

Well thats a pretty easy one since it was Mary-Kate Olsen you're thinking of, not Elizabeth
Edit: Well now i'm second guessing myself

Your talking about House of M storyline.
House of X storyline is the most recent X-men reboot where they started their own nation state on Krakoa.
