I don't hate the show. It's entertaining. Some aspects are outstanding. But the majority of this board acted like it was the second coming of Breaking Bad.

what about the entire last season spent at the farm, in a storyline that should have taken 2-3 eps tops?
The framework of the show is different, which keeps it intriguing and unfortunately masks some of the bad writing. Hopefully they'll straighten it out in the next episode or two, then move on. It's one of those shows they just drag out I've come to expect.

No one. And I mean no one. On this board. Has said that.
Justified season 2 is one of the best seasons of television ever created (that doesn't mean Justified is as good as Breaking Bad, which has had multiple seasons of pure amazing). Mags Bennett was one of the most complex and interesting villains ever created on TV; a woman who is at her core a mother, but a mother to a bunch of screwups in rural Kentucky whose sole means of occupation has been to farm pot for years. She is constantly torn between her love for her sons and her hatred of their stupidity, all while trying to ensure that her family name and position remains intact for years to come with the coal mine deal. She is fantastic because, like Boyd, she is not evil. She is simply on the wrong side of the law.
Which gets me to the greatest part of this show: there is no truly good or bad guy. Boyd, as much as he wants to pretend, is not a cold-blooded bastard. Raylen, as much as he wants to pretend, is not the moral arm of the law.
And the fact that you think Raylen has no personality seriously makes me question (a) your ability to reason, and (b) whether you're trolling. This guy is filled with personality. His character depth is like the goddamn ocean compared to nearly every other character on TV. I mean, shite, he grew up in bumfrick Kentucky, knowing he wanted to escape, to a father who was a sociopath and criminal, whose wife has left him, whose inability to escape his past haunts him, despite the fact that he knows he fits in it... Seriously. The guy oozes personality. He is complex as all hell.
If you don't like the show, fine. But your reasons for not liking the show are categorically stupid. Yeah I said it.

This...this is one of my all time favorite TV shows.

The Walking Dead really isn't very good. I continue to watch because I enjoy a good post apocalyptic story just as much as the next guy. But it really could be so much better. The acting, writing and slow pace more than kill any appeal that the genre has for me.
Justified on the other hand is one of the better shows on televisions IMO.

You do know Justified, although you underrate Season 1. Bo Crowder was awesome.

I also wouldn't but Justified at the same level as BB and GoT, it is a better show in terms of acting and plot than Walking Dead which is pretty much a B rated zombie show but yea, I like it.

are you fricking kidding me??
you are shitting me, right?
justified doesnt even belong in the same sentence with the walking dead.
you are an idiot for even thinking so.

He was...the last 4 episodes he showed up on. It was horrendously slow before that with the random "one off" plot lines.

Honestly, the first two seasons were eh. Third season was awesome, fourth seems pretty solid.

Third season was awesome,
Just started but I really like what they did with that cat from Dexter. He's an awesome character. I don't know what happens to him as Raylan just shot him. That's where I'm at. Hope that's not the end of the line for that creepy guy.

You're right, it doesn't...because Justified is so superior to The Walking Dead. I'm a big fan of TWD, look forward to it every week, but it's not a great show. It has lots of character issues, pacing problems, and writing that's just off. It seems like a lot of its fixes should be easily remedied, but they're not. TWD has some great moments, but there's a lot of in-between that takes a while to get to them.
Almost every scene in Justified oozes cool. The characters are awesome, sometimes the history or Harlan feels GoTish. I like both a lot, but Justified is better on almost every level.

4. The dialogue between Raylon and Boyd is excellent. They probably have the best chemistry on TV. Worst character in the show has to be Dicky. His mother was a close second. I'm sorry, I wasn't sold on those four (4) dumbos running anything beyond a backwoods pea patch. Cooder or whatever his name was the most authentic out the bunch.
The guy that played dickey was nominated for an Emmy both season, and won the second.

Not to mention Margo won an Emmy for playing Mags in season 2. Clearly the OP is a brilliant judge of acting ability.

Just because I won't deep throat the show. Look, it's a good average show. But half of you act like it's transformed television.
