Jurassic World sketch was funny because of his overacting.
And I can’t believe they got Stormy Daniels in the cold open. That was unexpected.

First episode since i quit DVRing it. I got tired of fast forwarding through 1.5 hours of forced, unfunny political skits and the shitty musical guests just for 3 skits.

Best episode of the season easily. This is what happens when you get a very talented comedic actor and good writing. That month long break did the show some good.

I wouldn't say that about his acting career. I don't think his goal there is to be so deliberately bad as to be entertaining. And while I'm not a rap fan, I thought he was well regarded by those who are.

The weekend update guys seem all in on Trump getting impeached. I miss the days where SNL didn’t so blatantly show their cards. It’s not even funny. It’s just kind of sad to watch these dumbassss try to convince themselves and the audience that this is a sure thing. They’ve literally become an arm of CNN. I mean, they literally had a porn star on the show.
That said, aside from the political stuff, was a pretty good episode. DG delivered IMO.

Yeah she's such a professional and dignified person, it amazes me she's do something attention whore-ish and try her hardest to stay in the spot light. Really unbelievable that she'd be on national television promoting herself.

Agreed. They aren't even doing jokes anymore. Just jamming political commentary into the show.
There's a difference between political satire and caricature humor and straight political commentary. The current generation of writers at SNL don't understand the diffence.
