Really hope we get a look inside silo 1 in the final ep.

Solsbury Hill? Sledgehammer? Shock the Monkey maybe?

It felt like they were trying to get people inside and trap them, and that was correct.

They were originally invented for medical tech, but they discovered countries like Iran had weaponized them. Charlotte's entire mission was a suicide diversion mission so that the real mission of destroying the Iranian facility with a tactical nuke could occur.

I think season three has been the best so far.

Colin Hanks and team invented the nano tech and lost control of it. They knew it was going to end the world eventually so they started the silo project.

They then pre-empted the end of the world with the bomb. Although I'm unsure if the politician and Hanks were in on this. I wonder if there was some sub-group of the Silo planners that planned the bomb and left Hanks et al out of it. Some were preparing for a party, while others seemed to be ready to run into the Silo. I do think Hanks likely knew because he picked the people from different countries and didn't seem to care about the speech he was supposed to give later.

Could also be that the only way to rid the world of nanotech is to completely kill the grid globally by bombing it and ending civilization. Then re-start later when they're sure it's gone.

Also a chance they planned one big bomb and made it look like an attack and assumed the Earth would go into nuclear war and at the end we find out it didn't completely destroy itself.

The people were hand-selected for the “tour” that had various pedigree and ancestry to prevent inbreeding and preserve biological diversity. Tour guide mentioned 2 employees from every country on Earth. The people also have clear health histories, etc.

The “dinner” had Vitamin D+ in it.

The silos are kept separate because after hundreds of years in a single silo, the genetics of the residents will start to overlap. Once they are released, they will need to breed with other silos (also went into planning of who in each)

They are slowly breeding them to be less violent and free thinking outside of what they teach them (The Pact). That’s why only certain women can have babies with certain men.

They are trying to make them forget violence and war and the world as it was, so the “new world” will be peaceful and communistic.

There are people in Silo 1 that aren’t made to forget. Their memories are and will always be preserved. They are the controlling class.

Outside world is inhabitable, but Silo 1 doesn’t think the populations in the other silos are ready. They somehow poison the people that go out to clean and have drones to shoot them in case that doesn’t work or in the case of the people trying to go to other silos.

While the outside world is inhabitable, it’s still in ruins in most of the world. I bet there are nice areas though and they eventually get out and migrate on foot and find some green valley or something and settle down and the show ends.

Also the journalist has the baby in Silo 18 and that baby's ancestor is Juliette
