Don’t let them fool you, it’s a damn entertaining show. Give it a shot if you’re interested.
You aren’t going to get an all time GOAT… but it’s still a highly engaging mystery nested in an entirely unique concept across TV. I deeply enjoyed it, others did too. You might, as well

This has been one of my favorite shows so far!!! It is awesome and me and my wife have been waiting on the newest season to drop! Can't wait!!

Wait to you get to the episode with them trying to repair the broken generator. Probably the cheesiest episode of TV I've ever watched. I wanted to like this show but it's so dang corny. So much so it kept me from reading the books, although they are bound to be better.

Give the books a shot. Great story. The problem with Silo, like many many shows and movie series, they just want to stretch everything out. When these genius Hollywood writers and producers stretch shows out, what happens? CRAP. Smelly awful boring crap.

I read the books after the last season aired. Really looking forward to see how they handle Shift. They are filming the final two seasons simultaneously so we shouldn’t haven’t a long wait between next season and the final season.
