Thought last nights was meh. Just wasn't as into it this season as previous seasons, had some great moments though.

I hope they drop the whole getting funding, then pulling the rug out from under them routine though.
Start next season where they are fully funded and 'successful,' I'd like to see them fumble their way through being successful and the new challenges that come along with that aspect.

For a season finale it was pretty meh...thought this season started off really well but kind of dragged down the stretch the last few episodes
I would have liked to have seen them team up with Gavin longer instead of already being adversaries again

Is this how Bachman is written out? He just stays in Tibet smoking opium?
When the have the series finale he will show up and not realized 5 years has past
I hope there's a running gag where he's now like an "absentee big head." Then have him show up on the series finale to realize his big mouth and ego where his problems all along...

I agree. Still a good finale but it was "meh" relative to the rest of the season. At this point, you know that they will be saved whenever they seem to be out of luck. Still such a great show.
Just thinking this morning how much more awesome SV would be if Christopher Welch (Peter Gregory) was still alive.

He fricked up big time by leaving the show.
Meh, he has 6 movies either about to release or in production at the moment. He'll be fine

Competition should be fruitful. This is setting up like Zuckerberg vs. Snapchat. Tried to buy them, they refused, and he's been out to destroy them ever since. If they can take Pied Piper public, that would be great. Talk about expanding their world.

I tend to agree that I like Gavin vs. Piped Piper moreso than when they're partners. Gavin is a pretty worthy "villain" in the context of the show and it's fun watching him as a heel.

"Do you raw dog it? Or do you put on a condom and frick it in safe mode?"
one of the best lines of the entire show

They're going to forget about her, too. She's not something that is always in their consciousness like Gavin or Jack - and then, BOOM.
Of course, now that they're squaring off against Gavin, they may end up enlisting her in their struggle.

im a complete idiot with most tech stuff. The program they put on Holi phones was malware, isn't it the same with the program on the smart fridges? Can they get in trouble for that or not?

Most definitely.

Yes.

Yes.
Now, it is arguably benevolent "Malware" as they are getting half of the free "extra" space, if they wrote it the same way as their main app. But, non-consensual and they essentially hacked the Hooli app for the phones and the SmartFridge firmware for those. But "Malware" and certainly civilly actionable (IP, system intrusion) and very likely criminal liability will flow.

Ok, well then I predict they will cover it up and at some point the hacker girl will find out, but then decides not to tell on them or goes back to prison before she can tell on them and all goes back to normal.

The smart fridges replaying "suck it Jian Yang" had me dying for a good 5 minutes
