I didn't like him either but he nails it on Silicon Valley. So much that it makes his character on The Office much better now.
Last night's show was really on point. One of the better episodes. The show is really hitting it's stride right now.

I was hoping the season premiere title was a meta way of making fun of one step forward, one step back formula for this show, and they would start to move away from it. However, my coworkers buddy works for HBO, and word from him is that this season is going to be more of the same, and next year will be when they start to see some real success. Friend of a friend thing, so take it for what it's worth

Apparently, there will be an endless stream of people who have heard about his latest exploit, be it the cover (and inside) of Wired, guest lecturer at Stanford, etc. People eventually realize he's an idiot, but then it's just on to the next encounter.

Big Head was gifted $20m for no reason at all, and then just wasted it all on a boat he never used and moving a pool back and forth. He had enough money to last him the rest of his life comfortably. All he had to do was nothing, and he couldn't even get that right. Somehow by the end of this show he is going to be a billionaire.

I've been frustrated with that but I think they've take a different approach this year. When you view the show as how this group deals with life in Silicon Valley instead of the story of how they become billionaires, the show is much better. We were all waiting on Pied Piper to become the next big thing. That obviously isn't happening anytime soon so the show is allowed to breathe a little bit now.

Some message boards aren't as adverse to revealing real identities, but I guess it is supposed to be suggested that message board had some sort of ties to hacking so they would probably be less likely to reveal real identities. I guess it's just a device to reveal the hatred quickly. Her handle was apparently her real name too--M14.
I guess that doxxing is supposed to be pretty common in those communities.
