Showtime and A24 films

Just an FYI showtime has damn near all of A24's films on showtime. Maybe all idk. Just a heads up guys they make absolutely great movies of all genres.

Also if you can do me favor list a few of your favorite A24 films to lmk what i should watch next or u know.

Think I'm gonna go with Jonah Hill's directed mid90s tonight.

Anybody with showtime hasn't seen swiss army man must see imo lol loved it!!

Also, if your local library offers Kanopy, they too have most A24 movies.

My top A24 are Ex Machina, Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Florida Project, The Witch and First Cow.

AND a lot of them are in UHD/4k. Think I’m actually going to rewatch hereditary for the first time tonight tbh.

Has anyone watched the Green Knight? Worth a damn? I’ve almost started it a couple times now.

my brother loved it

a friend hated it

the way they both talked about it seems like it's one of those flicks most either get on board w/100% or will never understand why anyone else likes it.

The one thing they both said was don't expect an action movie.

I absolutely loved it. But I can understand the criticism. It helps to have an understanding of the poem before viewing the film.

It's an A24 movie, so you should know what to expect. I think there's a 5 or 6 minute scene where dudes horse is walking down a path. No dialogue, or even music. Just horse and path for 5 minutes.

It's not for me.

A24 is now set to team up with HBO .. on the limited series "The Sympathizer". Robert Downey producing and starring as well.
