Knew it had to be Amma, was not expecting the reveal to occur the way it did; that last scene before credits was incredible. Definitely didn't expect the group murder in the woods. The mythos those last few images created brought back all the feelings from True Detective S1. Good Southern gothic peels back and shows the rot that lies beneath a whole populace, not just a single fricked up person. This series gave a nice head fake in the other before delivering that gut punch to the audience.

There was another frame I tried to get but it transitioned too fast for me to pause and snap it. And it was definitely one of the rollerblade girls there too.

Fairly certain this was a one off. And we got some answers; that town was both run and haunted by women.
And god damn, I'm gonna have "In the Evening" stuck in my head all day tomorrow. What a great song to roll credits on.
