Sex Education season 2 is about to drop

Season one was good, but a bait and switch show, lots of sex and nudity in the first three episodes then nothing, we will see what we get in season two.

You know the internet has porn, right? You dont need to hope for nude fake sex scenes in regular shows because you can the see real thing for no cost at all.

Yep, but why should a show about sex not have sex and nudity? I am not looking for them to go all out, just don't make a show about something that they don't show.
It's like actresses that have body doubles, don't do the scene if you don't have the good or guts.

That's not exactly what the show is about. It is about a naive young high schooler and his more experienced "business" colleague. His mom is a sex therapist. Then there are all the high school relationships normal and otherwise. I wouldn't get my hopes up for a lot of flesh. You may see quick flashes of a few boobs.

I had completely forgotten they paired up the main kid (Otis)with that really really unfortunate looking girl (ola) at the end of the season. What truly horrible casting that is.

Maybe pathetic but don't necessarily hold up hope that the writers are going to deliver. I've gotten through a bunch of this season already. The essence of this story is whether or not the sophisticated girl Maeve from across the tracks so to speak, and the nerdy inexperienced boy Otis finally end up in each other's arms and embrace and kiss. The rest of the show is about the the adventures and mis-adventures of a motley collection of students (and some adults) as they bull their way through high school with their various sexual proclivities. But the end point for this show is when Maeve and Otis find each other in love. That ain't happening this season and it is the reason for this show. So this little love story is going to go on hiatus as we wait another year to see if the writers put them together. When they do the reason for the show will be done.
On an unrelated note Otis has grown up a bit this season and doesn't look so nerdy.
Emma Mackey (Maeve) is a natural brunette and this season she goes back to that. It is a better look for her.

It’s set in present day but they incorporate a lot of retro clothing styles and a new wave soundtrack. It’s actually one of the things I like about the show.
