Seth Rogen Says He Doesn’t Plan to Work With James Franco after the sexual allegations

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Rogen addressed the allegations, as well as his 2014 “Saturday Night Live” opening monologue, where he joked about a 17-year-old girl’s allegation that Franco had direct messaged her on Instagram to meet up.
“I decided to prank James Franco,” Rogen says during the monologue. “I posed as a girl on Instagram, told him I was way young. He seemed unfazed. I have a date to meet him at the Ace Hotel.”
“What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that,” Rogen told the Times. “However, I do look back at a joke I made on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 2014 and I very much regret making that joke. It was a terrible joke, honestly.”
“I also look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now,” Rogen said.
Rogen confirmed that it is “not a coincidence” that his professional relationship with Franco seems to have come to an end, and said that the allegations have affected their personal friendship as well.

Yeah, Seth Rogan is a true gentleman. I'm sure he never did anything nefarious. He's stabbing his buddy ( of 20 + years, is it ? ) in the back before Franco does the same to him, I suppose.
People DO realize that Jimmy Page ( then 28 ) "dated " Lori Maddox ( 14 yrs old ). And there's a long list of underaged relationships in rock and Hollywood.

He has been his fricking wingman for 25 fricking years. I don’t get to disassociate from my wingmen and they don’t to disassociate from me. Any of my friends who have been with me or I’ve been with them for 10 plus years clearly knowing what either of us have done, no you go down with the ship. Makes Seth Rogan even more pathetic throwing his best friend under the bus that he has repeatedly enabled.

He was with Franco on 75% of these incidents. He doesn’t get off and quite frankly has probably been doing the same things Franco has. Hope Franco rats his friend out after this.

I was thinking of my friends and could see them throwing me under the bus solely for their kids, but I started thinking that I don’t think Seth or James have wives or kids which means you’re heterosexual life partners and thus sure as shite don’t throw each other under the bus. Turns out Seth has a wife but no kids, so yeah what a pussy. Franco may be a douche, but Rogen should voluntarily go down in the flames with him if he’s a true friend that has helped him cover his crimes in the past. Wife not good enough of an excuse, just kids.

Jerry Seinfeld dated a 17 year old when he was like 38. No one batted an eye and no one really cares even now. This is Rogen being a coward, plain and simple. He's trying to save his own hide in the industry at the expense of a guy who he was friends with and helped him in his career.

Seriously, if this were my lifelong friend (they’ve been best friends since they were like 16), I’d privately pull him aside and say “Dude, are you a fricking idiot? You’re James fricking Franco. Go find a 25 year old chick, or dude, or whatever the frick you’re into and stop this stupid bullshite.” Throwing him under the bus to save your own hide when you’ve helped him to do that, what a pussy. All a true friend would say to the press is “Look, I don’t condone it, but it’s legal and my friend is a fricking idiot.” Busting your friends balls in public is one thing, but completely throwing him under the bus unless he does some truly OJ/Polanski shite that you truthfully weren’t aware of, go frick yourself.
