A great little movie with a nostalgic 70s feel. Starring Hackman, Harrison Ford, John Cazale, Cindy Williams (pre-Shirley Feeney) and others. Turner Classic Movies. Definitely one of my favorite Gene Hackman movies.

Kind of an unofficial precursor/prequel to Enemy of the State.

A very good movie that requires a viewer’s full attention and patience. The
Payoff is well worth it. And Hackman is spectacular.

Look at this 5 year run that Gene Hackman had from 1970-1974. Every one of those movies was great IMO

Young Frankenstein (1974)

The Conversation (1974)

Scarecrow (1973)

The Poseidon Adventure (1972)

The French Connection (1971)

I Never Sang for My Father (1970)

He had a 10-year run of films a decade later that might have been even better

The Birdcage (1996)

Get Shorty (1995)

Crimson Tide (1995)

Wyatt Earp (1994)

Geronimo (1993)

The Firm (1993)

Unforgiven (1992)

Mississippi Burning (1988)

No Way Out (1987)

Hoosiers (1986)
