You have got the worst taste in t.v. history.

Seinfeld is the 2nd best show ever...only behind Arrested Development....and Seinfeld did it for many more years...and you hate Norm McDonald which makes me think your sense of humor is a little off. I know you're smart.....not sure why you don't get smart comedy.

On a per episode basis, Seinfeld is the greatest. There are some great "which was the greatest Seinfeld episode" debates out there. I don't recall very many "greatest Friends episode" debates.

However, Friends has a storyline and various story archs that pull you in, so as a SERIES (in the truest sense of the word) it may be a little better.

This topic isn't up for discussion. Friends is historically one of the most unfunny shows in television history, not counting ones that lasted a season or less. 99% of the country would agree that Seinfeld is a million times better than friends, it's just a fact.

If the storyline sucks an arse, then who cares if the episodes tie in with one another?

The Office is one of the best comedies on TV right now. What would you consider to be more of a driving force behind what makes that show good? Michael Scott's antics or Jim <3ing Pam?

Friends is for chicks. Seinfeld is for those of us with a sense of humor.

this is all opinion and to me it is the best by a wide margin, but I don't think I would get to many to disagree with me if I said it was one of if not the most popular sitcom of all time.
