Hey, I actually like those ads with Zach and Donald. But that aside, I really did enjoy the Podcast those 2 did together. Endless stories and great call backs to stuff they did on the set. The writing and ideas they all had. Fantastic behind the scenes insight to all the eps and amazing co-star interviews. This was during the worst parts of the lockdown, with peak Covid crap and all that mess. It really was a great listen.
Until that BLM crap happened, and then each and every one of them on the show fell in line and were compelled to interject some racist BS of the modern-day events, taking me completely out of reliving the series, which had NOTHING to do with 2021.
After a couple of episodes of that noise, I stopped listening. Hearing the actors parrot that Marxist BS, I was done with the trip down memory lane.
A damn shame.

More Janitor. Didn't he improvise all his lines or something?

IDK about 'all', but there was a fair amount of free forming. And The Fugitive meta references were absolute gold.

Awkward money grab born out of lack of creativity and greed. I foresee another Arrested Development S. 4:
True.
Suck a bag of d+*$@ks Netflix.

During the series' third season in 2006, despite months-long rumors of Arrested Development having been picked up by the cable television network Showtime,[30] creator Hurwitz declined to move the show to another network.[31] Hurwitz said, "I had taken it as far as I felt I could as a series. I told the story I wanted to tell, and we were getting to a point where I think a lot of the actors were ready to move on."[32] He said that he was "more worried about letting down the fans in terms of the quality of the show dropping" than he was about disappointing fans by not giving them more episodes
True.

Six years after the series had been canceled by Fox, filming for a fourth season began on August 7, 2012.[37] Fifteen episodes of the show's revival season were released simultaneously on Netflix on May 26, 2013.[12] Although it received generally favorable reviews,[38] it was far less well-received than prior seasons, leading Netflix to re-edit the season in 2018.[27] Netflix confirmed on May 17, 2017,[39] that a fifth season was expected to be released on its service in 2018, with filming taking place from August 2017 to November 2017.[40][41] Arrested Development was set to be removed from Netflix on March 15, 2023.[42] However, after a last-minute deal, Netflix retained the streaming rights.[43]
Suck a bag of d+*$@ks Netflix.

Wow. Some of the worst ads on TV today. Just Zach and Donald singing a bunch of unfunny crap. It's as bad as the Will Ferrell ad.

This is the exact same experience I had. I was doing a rewatch at the time, and listening to the podcast episode corresponding to each. The podcast turned to woke and it was so off-putting that I stopped listening and stopped watching the show.

I was doing this on YouTube.
Of course the ads are cringe. That’s the point.

I don't have a problem with cringe, but I just don't find the ads entertaining or funny.

Zach and Donald put out a podcast a couple days ago saying they are filming in September and it will be 9 episodes and everyone from the original show will be back. My guess is early 2026 for the premiere.

the 2 producers who don't shut up. They quit talking about the episode and started talking about woke covid stuff. I quit listening also once it started doing that.

Apologizing and lecturing the audience about blackface. It was beyond stupid.

That’s not woke. That’s apologizing for something that you regret and probably shouldn’t have done.

The painting of the face was a joke, loser. Turk did whiteface too as part of the bit. Get a since of humor. And perhaps attempt to understand what blackface is and how what Scrubs did had nothing to do with demeaning anyone.

The entirety of the BLM nonsense. That’s the heart of wokeness. It took the audience out of the world which the show created and interjected current day politics into the discussion.
They should’ve just stuck with the show, and if they wanted to add their own personal views about their own politics, they should’ve started another podcast.
