Scream 3 is more disappointing than anything. It had a good premise but it was mostly wasted and made some weird decisions like Sidney's out of left field ghost mom dreams.

Scream is a CLASSIC. A must-watch.
Scream 2 is pretty solid and a damn good horror sequel.
Scream 3 is the weakest and much more creepy than scary.
Scream 4 is a damn good revival.
