Ok. I've seen it a couple of times, but I don't get the reference. Make me feel stupid and tell me please.
The Robin in DK Returns is a female.

OLM corrected me. I was thinking the movie, DK Rises. I thought I has missed something in the movie.

Gotcha. I just feel that this is a great choice, and Jena Malone with red hair at least looks the part.

As a comic reader, it doesn't bother me that they are using a female Robin (I'm assuming Carrie Kelley). But I don't think it will play very well with the non-comic readers that go to see the movie.

I don't know. It could be boost with the female demographic. There already aren't very many female superhero movie characters out there.

I'm actively campaigning for the introduction of Power Girl.

Of course WB would probably cast Paris Hilton for the part.....

They are using way too much of this as source material. From the shitty logo to the female Robin.

They should've just kept it simple and gone with World's Finest. Would've been an easier project for audiences to accept.

Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Lex Luthor, Cyborg, Robin? It just seams like a lot to throw at us in one movie. I guess we'll see.

Exactly. I'm honestly expecting something worse than Batman and Robin here. At least B&R was funny, but they've made it clear that there will be no happiness and joy to be found in this continuity. Just all about depression. Remember fun guys, like say "The Guardians of the Galaxy"? Well it's not happening, and we're just going to shove the Dark Knight Returns down your throat in a place where it has no business being.

Well, I loved Dark Knight Returns when it came out. Have several copies.

If it is remotely as entertaining as DKR then I will be happy.

It's funny how so many of you have changed since Superman. You guys wanted a more serious Supes and when you got it, you hated it.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Rises?

I want a more serious Superman, but I don't want a dark Suoerman. That's Batman's card. Really, Superman's films as far as I'm concerned shouldn't be much tonally off than Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films. That's about the balance they should reach, but instead they're shitting the bed. There should be some joy in the Superman mythos, while it's not required in Batman's.
