I think he's going to. We are still nominating right now. That's how the marvel one worked. He will revise it and see what we think

I agree that we don't need more "superman" type characters.

How many "batman" type characters are we throwing out then?

Batman
Green Arrow
Iron Man
etc.

He's also vulnerable to red sunlight from a red sun like Krypton had and also magic like from Zatanna and Dr. Fate in particular.

There's other ways to beat Superman or fight him to a stalemate.

Batman at least can be beat, but then he is human, and wouldn't make it far in the challenge.

Watch Justice League: Doom and read JLA: Tower of Babel.

In addition, what's everybody's thought on Superman and Wonder Woman's relationship?

I just read all the issues from their series together including the latest one and I really love this pairing. I don't want to spoil anything but here's an amazing scene from the latest issue.

I think Dr. Fate would probably stand the best chance at taking Superman on without having to play the kryptonite card. He is probably the most powerful hero in the DC world that wields magic. I'd have in him before I would Zantanna.

Although I guess since Shazam's power comes from magic, he could go a few rounds with him also.

Shazam could potentially kick his arse. He can shoot magic beams.

DCAU did a short on this..

Also part of a series and movie, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. They were pretty even fights.

I like the current list but I don't understand why Big Barda would be considered a hero if Catwoman isn't. I'd say move Barda to villains too and put Jonah Hex back in.

Barda isn't a villain. She escaped Apocalypse and married Mister Miracle. She never really was a villain to begin with. She rebelled against Darkseid for a long time.

Catwoman continuously goes back and forth between hero and thief.

They both seem to be reformed villains in my mind.

Catwoman was never really "reformed". She just served whatever was in her best interest. Big Barda only served Dark Seid because she was a product of Granny Goodness' orphanage. But she joined a rebel group very early on in her DC storyline. As far as I know, she has always been regarded as a superheroine.
